GFY, Ronnie Boi DeSanctimonious, you hypocrite. Enjoy your single digit support — you deserve it! Your political career is FINISHED, and I think you know it.

You like DeSantis, we get it. Nothing wrong with that. But to suggest Trump has anything but the citizens and the Country’s best interests at heart is disingenuous. Is there an underlying agenda? Of course there is, just like every other politician who has ever held or run for office.

What bothers me the most about people who didn’t vote for Trump is their abject hatred of the man, drat his policies which were very successful in his four years in office. And this is despite every establishment organization trying to destroy him. He survived and thrived.

You couldn’t be more wrong. And DeSantis has it exactly backwards.

There is only one candidate being thrown under the bus - and it has been going on for 8 years straight: Donald J Trump.

They impeached him twice over lies.
They stole an election from him.
They framed him and his supporters for “insurrection” just for protesting a stolen election.

Then to top it all off, leaders of his own party - instead of rising to his defense and fighting to put him back in the White House where he belongs - choose to RUN AGAINST HIM!!!

Who is throwing who under the bus?

The votes of the peasants count for nothing, and Rob DS is fine with that.

A corrupt government holding J6 hostages for years, denying them their Constitutional rights is not a problem to him either.

He KNOWS how close we are to losing the country, yet he's willing to be a deep state stooge, and stand in the way of the only candidate the deep state is afraid of-President Trump.

He should have endorsed President Trump from day 1.

There’s a pattern here.

The "Trump is the most religious and humble man to ever walk the earth. He truly believes in god and walks the walk when it comes to Christianity" and "Trump is selfless and would never do anything to promote himself or serve himself. He only gives of himself to the people" takes are still the wildest things coming out of Freep (and the general Trump-favoring conservative media).

It's okay to just say you want to deport everyone speaking Spanish and Trump offers that. Other conservatives aren't going to judge you for just saying you like Trump's policies. The insistence that he is the most religious person in America and ha spent his entire life humbly trying to avoid the spotlight, enriching himself, or fame, but they keep being thrust upon him, is some wildly delusional thinking that anyone can tell is not true.

It's legitimately difficult to tell how much is just tribal shibboleths and how much is them completely living in a wild alternate reality that is straight up delusional where they believe the billionaire with gold toilets who cheats on his wife with porn stars is the godliest and least worldly person in the world.

Somehow, that stuff strikes me as way crazier than the people ranting about the global Jewish conspiracy or saying they want to put machine guns on the border to gun down anyone who approaches.

It's been a while, but I thought that it was started because some kids had prophetic visions, but almost nobody in the actual crusades was a child.

Wikipedia says that nobody is 100% sure, but the kids being sold into slavery is likely apocryphal and most modern historians don't think there were many kids involved at all. It was likely due to a Latin translation error in the medieval period.

quote:

Many historians came to believe that they were not (or not primarily) children, but multiple bands of "wandering poor" in Germany and France. This comes in large part from the words "parvuli" or "infantes" found in two accounts of the event from William of Andres and Alberic of Troisfontaines. No other accounts from the time period suggest an age at all, but the connotation with the two words give an entirely separate meaning. Medieval writers often split up a life into four major parts with a variety of age ranges associated to them. The Church then co-opted this classification to a societal coding, with the expression referring to wage workers or labourers who were young and had no inheritance. The Chronica regia Coloniensis, written in 1213 (a year after the crusade was said to have taken place), refers to crusaders having "left the plows or carts which they were driving, [and] the flocks which they were pasturing", adding to the idea of it being not "puerti" the age, but "puerti" the societal moniker.

quote:

Traditional accounts

The variants of the long-standing story of the Children's Crusade have similar themes. A boy begins to preach in either France or Germany, claiming that he had been visited by Jesus, who instructed him to lead a Crusade in order to peacefully convert Muslims to Christianity. Through a series of portents and miracles, he gains a following of up to 30,000 children. He leads his followers south towards the Mediterranean Sea, in the belief that the sea would part on their arrival, which would allow him and his followers to walk to Jerusalem. This does not happen. The children are sold to two merchants (Hugh the Iron and William of Posqueres), who give free passage on boats to as many of the children as are willing. The pilgrims are then either taken to Tunisia, where they are sold into slavery by the merchants or else die in a shipwreck on San Pietro Island off Sardinia during a gale.

So because the caucuses aren't elections, some networks decided that they'd "call" the races once the closed-door voting process started instead of waiting for the voting to end. In at least one case, it's been reported that when people received news alerts on their phones that the race had been called, they got up and left without voting.

Wrong, go look at my FR homepage. I was outraged in December 2020, and even put up videos about possible cheating, including the vote totals for Trump going backwards on national TV. But no fraud was ever proven, anywhere. Sorry, but I’m just a hard evidence guy. And Trump barely even put up an actual fight. He ran for the hills on January 7, taking all the money that had been donated to stop the steal with him. Never even paid Rudy. Not the least bit convincing he had the goods. Whenever I heard an atheist at the jobsite using JC or GD I would mention that they are hypocrites.

They would usually reply “no I’m not” or “what do you mean?” And I would let them know that as an atheist they shouldn’t use words associated with the religions that they do not profess or not abide by nor believe in. They would disagree.... I would counter with the still small voice or caution about playing to close to the slippery ditch and falling therein.

Then I would get that “well what do you believe in?”
My reply was “I believe that you are a hypocrite, get back to work.”

There Could Be Only One Reason Why the Chinese Messed With the Coronavirus Again posted by freeper lightman

There’s a new COVID variant that China has been tweaking in the lab, and it’s unbelievable. It was tested on mice and had a 100 percent mortality rate. Dubbed the ‘brain virus,' Chinese scientists are paving the way for another global pandemic if this escapes their labs again. The study involved a “cousin” strain of the coronavirus, which was mutated and then administered to humanized mice; all died within eight days. The study does not say how this could impact humans, but the research has been heavily criticized as pointless, dangerous, and veering into absolute madness (via NY Post):

"Disease X" hysteria is hilarious / terrifying.

But to what benefit?

The Chinese have been attempting to create a virus that would preferentially exterminate people of non-Han Chinese genetics. They even wrote about this in their military journals a few years ago, detailing a scenario where China could repopulate the North American continent after a plague had removed all of the previous residents.

We have our lunatic fringe. So do the Chinese. Both groups include persuasive (and very psychopathic) individuals who manage to get access to government funding from time to time.

COVID-19 was their first prototype. It did not work as it was supposed to work. And then there was an "Oops" in the Wuhan lab.

"Disease X" will have a similar progression. Hopefully, we will be lucky (again) and it will not work. If it does work, it will only be a problem for the 2% of the human race that survives the plague.

Spoiler: That won't include the Chinese people or the members of the WEF councils. Their very names will have been forgotten in the aftermath of such events.

Plans usually do not work out quite as expected.

That's very common for fair complected folks who've had a lot of sun exposure. It represents easy bruising, as a consequence of the sun damage rendering their skin fragile, aka "thin", and takes a colorfully long time to resolve. Looks red initially. Backs of hands and forearms are especially prone. And in my professional experience, lots of older folks getting it fail to recognize they are bruises. But although Trump may well be prone to that problem, it wouldn't explain these palm lesions. Palms get much less sun damage and generally are spared that.

Small Pox was pretty much eradicated world wide by the late 70’s early 80’s.

If you have a small roundish scar on probably your upper left arm you had a vaccination (back when vaccinations actually worked) when you were a kid, if you were born after around 1980 you probably don’t have one.

I have 2 small round scars, one from about the 3’rd grade and one from before I shipped out in January 1968, we were being sent to South East Asia where there were still pockets of endemic Small Pox.

I’ve believed this all along. Just patiently waiting to watch it happen.

The adulation is worth the inconvenience of having to move back to the White House. And Biden has proven that you can get maximum power with minimum effort.

Obama was handled by people with whom he shared beliefs. Michelle will be handled by the same people, who are probably still handling Biden.

Only minor speedbump I see is Jill Biden. She’s not going to be happy at turning over center stage to anyone else, but there’s probably enough scandal/available funds to quickly quiet her down.

People who don’t read anything but mainstream press will be drowned in the thrill/excitement/unending praise and enough go-along/get-along Republicans will either shut up or find some reason to justify the pair’s return. I get depressed at the number of times my sweet niece needs to be caught believing the latest and greatest and has to be reminded of balanced news and underlying truths. She can always be brought back to rationality, until the next time we discuss current events. It’s endless. The great unwashed are going to be smelling to high heaven from the swamp’s detritus once the Great Announcement is made public.

It sickens me.

The Democrats are going to figure out a way to dump Biden and nominate someone they think can beat Trump. They're working on it right now. You can be sure of that.

It's possible that they could try to make Harris electable. Yeah, I know, but they could conceivably pull it off by keeping her in the basement and blasting the morons with propaganda.

Between election fraud and massive propaganda, they can possibly elect anything.

What they want is a figurehead whom they can manipulate. That's what they've got now, but Biden has become a liability.

It's an added bonus to them if the figurehead is an insult to the USA and the American People. It ridicules the USA and all that she stands for, reinforces their power, and advances their objective, which is the destruction of the USA.

It also gives them and the rest of America's enemies sadistic pleasure.

This would clearly be--and perceived to be--Obama's 3rd term which would mean even greater racial disharmony and more BLM type riots. Methinks the non-black voting populace has had enough of that chit.

What is the Black National Anthem, you ask? It's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lift_Every_Voice_and_Sing. One freeper provides the full lyrics for us.

quote:

To: Salgak

I don’t see anything wrong with “Lift Every Voice and Sing”

Lift every voice and sing,
’Til earth and heaven ring,
Ring with the harmonies of Liberty;
Let our rejoicing rise
High as the listening skies,
Let it resound loud as the rolling sea.
Sing a song full of the faith that the dark past has taught us,
Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us;
Facing the rising sun of our new day begun,
Let us march on ’til victory is won.

Stony the road we trod,
Bitter the chastening rod,
Felt in the days when hope unborn had died;
Yet with a steady beat,
Have not our weary feet
Come to the place For which our fathers died.
We have come, over a way that with tears has been watered,
We have come, treading our path through the blood of the slaughtered,
Out from the gloomy past,
’Til now we stand at last
Where the white gleam of our bright star is cast.

God of our weary years,
God of our silent tears,
Thou who has brought us thus far on the way;
Thou who has by Thy might
Led us into the light,
Keep us forever in the path, we pray.
Lest our feet, stray from the places, our God, where we met Thee,
Lest our hearts, drunk with the wine of the world, we forget Thee;
Shadowed beneath Thy hand,
May we forever stand,
True to our God,
True to our native land.
