Danann posted:https://twitter.com/pplsartofwar/status/1747467835431895043 I previously worked for a company who stacked a whole bunch of empty boxes on pallets in the warehouse racks and claimed to the bank it was millions of dollars worth of assets and used them as security on further loans. The bank sent in a team of auditors to check but critically, the auditors could only operate off of what we put in front of them. So they signed off on our paperwork and the company got its loan. Still went bankrupt in the end though.
