It'd be neat if 3 of the 5 best players on the team were healthy. Welp, as Lamar goes so go we all.

Bad, very bad!
Thoughts on RG3. Running aside after the injury (and he could still scoot, just maybe not as much) he just stopped trusting his eyes or his ability to read coverage.

There's that photo pointing out 5 open receivers and he ends up throwing the ball away on the the play, that poo poo wasn't happening his rookie year, he'd just rip it. There was also the whole trying/demanding to become a pocket passer thing post injury--I don't think because he could not move, but because he thought it was better for his career--and that forced a whole deal with Shanahan who loved his roll outs at the very least fighting with Snyder who was all on board with RG3.

It was a weird time, there were a lot of things that went into him not working out.

Chalk me up with the non-believers of RG3 I never thought he was NFL quality and ran right into contact a lot on his own, too. His coaches sucked but I thought his early success was a bit of fool's gold. He's funny and also a salty bitch both can be true.

I think he had a chance to be a better passer than he was if he didn't go a little insane. But yeah he was always a straight line runner I thought.

You knew where he was going if you could get there first. He didn't have the shiftiness of Lamar or Vick, and he didn't have the size to not care about it like Cam for a while and Josh Allen now. Just top speed and unwillingness to do things that might save him a hit.

i really believe in lamar. his playmaking ability is second to none this year. jump passes, insane sideline throws after physically instructing mediocre players what to do while he's being chased around. stats or no stats. he is the best player there is in 2024. a true point guard. barring unforeseen circumstances, this is his super bowl season. no question about it. sorry to fans of the houston texans, kansas city chiefs, buffalo bills, green bay packers, san francisco 49ers, tampa bay buccaneers, and detroit lions. keep on fighting because you never know about those unforeseen circumstances. but without them, it's over. if something unexpected happens it's not but otherwise there's going to be a lot of 3-ring pimps around this place. they're going to be hollering

average, maybe. I see $656 to get in, which doesn't seem unreasonable for a home divisional game for a team without much success in decades.

I don't know about that - Cam Newton was even more physically dominant and got absolutely crippled by too many (late, unflagged) hits. If Allen keeps running like he does he might not make it much longer than Cam did.

Cam also refused to get surgery to treat his shoulder injury which eventually lead to him being unable to throw more than like 10 yards. He also claimed that he hurt his shoulder trying to make a tackle after he threw an interception. He did get beat to poo poo but his biggest problems weren’t really related to that.

I'm not sure how anyone thinks the Ravens should be favored in a rematch against the 49ers. We are completely screwed in that case.

Also remember recency bias. The Ravens were only just barely sneaking by the Chargers and should have been in a big hole at Jacksonville before their showings against the 49ers and a very injured Dolphins team.

The 49ers tried to attack the Ravens through the air instead of on the ground where we are kind of middling on defense, while they have an MVP candidate at RB. They have the advantage of making adjustments after being the losing side in a recent matchup and unless McCaffery gets injured somehow I do not think the Ravens have much of a chance.

Our best hope is that Green Bay pulls the massive upset tomorrow.

I think it's possible the Ravens do trounce the AFC this year but a SB loss is imminent.

If we didn't have that god drat game on Christmas we could have won.

I don't think much about the Ravens, but I woke up this morning with an odd feeling that it's their Super Bowl year. Like the funny Bengals guy said.

Of course they'll get through the divisional round no problem. We can ignore that one, foregone conclusion. The conference championship, okay they'll sweat a bit but it'll be their game to lose. Super Bowl? Lamar runs it in for the win.

I can feel it.
