I don't think Trump is racist, under the traditional definition of what we would tend to consider what a racist is. He's not like an Apartheid style racist or even a Nazi. Trump's the racist version of a solipsist: the only thing in existence that has any value is Trump. If he was told he could rule America for the rest of his life and he'd always get an adoring crowd, but to do so he'd have to kill every single white person in the States and bar any from outside it from entering, ie, all he would have are 'Others' doing the adoring, he'd do it in a second. But in the end that's arguing over whether the sugar/sweetener/high fructose corn syrup is 'properly sweet tasting'; they still all are intended to have that flavor.
