It's okay if you have any questions.

I like Dragonforce just fine but they're definitely a band where if you've heard one song you know exactly what to expect from all the others.

It does make it pretty easy to write Dragonforce parody songs:

I am old enough to have come across DragonForce when they were called Dragon Heart and had a version of Valley of the Damned with a different singer up on mp3.com.

I saw dragonforce live a few months ago and crashed and got depressed afterwards because it was simply too fun

The Zelda song was cringe but no more so than singing about elves in mordor or whatever

They were absolutely my gateway drug for power metal after guitar hero III and broke me out of listening exclusively to System of a Down

I listened to their first ep on MP3.com back on the Dragonheart times. They were pretty good in the beginning too.

I can’t hate on a band that use fans to blow back their hair and trampets to do silly jumps on. They’re a circus act and I’m fine with that.

When I saw them in 2005 or so though, it was mainly to see Edguy open for them. Amazing.

I'm pretty amazed how well Halford's vocals have held up. Yeah he doesn't sit in the higher pitches like he used to but the quality of his vocals hasn't degraded at all. He must have some good technique to keep it up.

He's kinda right though, I removed the link and switched to the ILL BILL official channel link for the song which has a more appropriate title

Ill bill is cool, he loves metal etc, but he could have skipped the "woke conspiracy theory" era of hiphop. I know tech started it and I love tech100%, but drat thats some ignorant uninformed propaganda poo poo. Especially that guy vinne paz is just so full of poo poo its offensive

Its actually IT and Max in an absolute monster of a song. There's an official animated video made for it too which is insanely good

aaanyway Dragonforce is cool

its loving wild that one of the literal fathers of the genre is still putting out good music. like it wont be long now before the orginators are all dead and gone, but for now we are 50+ years into heavy metal and Judas Priest is still going strong.

Also dragonforce rules the sillier metal is the better.

It's because they know exactly what they're good at and stick to having fun with that. Whereas a band like Maiden keeps trying to write drawn out prog epics that they haven't been capable of pulling off for 30 years.
