C. Everett Koop posted:when they actually have matches that end in a dq or countout They've had a few. There's that one guy who's a jobber who's like 2-0 against MJF because of this sort of thing. I recall his last win against MJF was due to CM Punk marching down as soon as the bell rang and gave the guy a GTS right in front of the ref giving him a DQ win.

PAC and MJF have both gotten themselves intentionally DQed in Iron Man matches. MJF got both counted out and DQed against Captain Shawn Dean. United Empire ran in on a tag team match to cause a no contest. Mercedes Martinez hit Thunder Rosa with a pipe for a DQ. I think there's more but I can't remember.

I really liked that time Juice Robinson decked somebody with the quarters for an early DQ against Kenny Omega and the Bucks.

xbilkis posted:Beat The Butcher by countout after hitting a coffin drop to the outside Yeah, that's the one I was thinking of. I couldn't remember if he'd been the one counted out or DQd, and if he'd been the one to win. I just remember it happening because the commentators mentioned that it was the second or third ever non-finish on Dynamite or whatever it was.

IWGP US Title hasn't been defended on AEW television since Forbidden Door and. Slightly more pressingly, it doesn't exist anymore. AAA Mega Championship is defended semi-regularly in AEW/RoH but that's honestly secondary to Khan just wanting to book Vikingo a bunch. TNA World Championship has been defended on AEW TV exactly once. NJPW Strong Women's championship was defended on AEW TV exactly once. I wanna saw the Strong Openweight championship appearing on AEW TV is mostly incidental to the fact that it's on Kingston, but they did the title-for-title match with Claudio, pushed it heavily as his life's work, they're doing the whole triple crown thing, so, fine.

How many times were the WCW Cruiserweight tag team titles defended? (I'm assuming the listing for Cruiserweight without the Canadian rebranding is meant to be for the tag ones) Plus being deactivated afterwards didn't disqualify any of the WCW titles. And even eliminating all the objected ones would make the list... 3 longer than the WCW one. Gaz-L fucked around with this message at 22:01 on Feb 5, 2024 |

(I'm assuming the listing for Cruiserweight without the Canadian rebranding is meant to be for the tag ones) Yep, whoops. It was first awarded at WCW Greed (guess where that comes in the chronological order of WCW PPVs) and changed hands on the March 26th 2001 Nitro.

Also the WCW Women's Cruiserweight title was only defended on tv once (and even then it was relegated to a recap show) and was then sent off to Japan never to be seen again.
