Red Hulk seems insane. A 6/14 if your opponent doesn't full spend a single turn seems pretty decent.

I imagine that it will not be +4 power per turn on release. That would be very very broken. Most of those April cards seem overpowered besides US Agent, who is a worse Lizard

Red Hulk is General Thaddeus Ross, so it makes sense that he both counters and overpowers Hulk. Personally, I'd make him a reverse Sunspot gaining 2 power per point of the opponent's unspent energy while in play. He would typically be 6/12 or 6/14 against most decks unless cheated out, but against someone skipping turn 6 for Infinaut on 7 he's straight up to 22 for the hard counter.

Latest datamine shows that now neither bundles nor spotlight schedules will be available in advance past what we already know; they appear to have removed that data completely from the files. Also even upcoming cards don't all have a release date either. Hope you enjoyed planning ahead while it lasted!

Bad Video Games posted:Not having leaks in advance is typically bad for these kind of games. Spotlights are a system that gives players two options. They can husband their resources and plan ahead to spend them how they want, or they do not plan and can end up lacking resources at a critical time which can only be replaced by spending money. Only one of these options promotes long term player retention. This decision isn't even a bad one from the perspective of it being better to get $10 a month from a thousand people than to get $1000 from one person. It's just straight up a choice to get an extra $10 from a thousand people once, then never again.

Yeah, the leaks give engaged players something to look forward to when the meta is stale or bad, give content creators fodder for creating content to speculate and generally draw attention to the game about. Meanwhile the vast majority of the player base who don’t visit the specialist sites continue enjoying and spending in ignorance. I thought the data mines (with last minute changes!) were brilliant free marketing by Second Dinner. If they don’t realize this, it’s very funny.

The problem is stuff gets leaked and then they change it when it comes out and everyone complains like they were promised something

They’ve complained about key hoarding so keeping future caches hidden makes sense. I’m sitting on 19 keys and have zero plans to spend till a 3/3 week. On the plus side each week I wait improves my odds with the random card

It doesn't help that the tutorial only goes over the extremely bare minimum of mechanics and there is no official documentation for pretty much every other feature in the game.

Fate Accomplice posted:They’ve complained about key hoarding so keeping future caches hidden makes sense. But the effect is literally the opposite. If you're already hoarding because you're afraid of missing future cards, having less information on future spotlights only makes the uncertainty, and thus the need to have a buffer, bigger. Nobody is going to "oh poo poo, I have no information on coming months now, I better start spending all my keys, lol!", that makes no sense at all.
