I'll be at Graspop as well. For me, there's more than enough bands and beer to have a good time. I'm in my forties, but I usually have no trouble getting to sleep. Probably helps that I've been going to festivals for 20+ years (oh god, I'm getting old)

Yeah, im in my 40s as well (closing in on 50 :( ) and it will be fun no doubt but i already have sleeping problems on normal days so sleeping at a campsite of a festival is quite a challenge. Also backpain after attending two and a half shows lol. Decent alcoholmanagement is often the key, not enough can be painful, too much doesnt help either..god why am i still doing this

Dissimulator is also all the guys from Chth’eilist except for Tougas. They’re good and so are all of Phil’s other bands but I want a new Chth’eilist album already! It’s been eight years!

They're still as of now coming to MDF this year and Sodom is the only band I'm more hyped to see

Keep an eye on secondary markets, especially if there’s a bunch near the end that haven’t sold as prices can sink then.

I will remember this. And unfortunately it was a cost issue, not a “my husband is lame”’issue. There are actually a lot of great bands touring this spring and we have to be a bit choosy.

I am devastated to report that I can’t go :( I flew to Denver last time they were in the US but this time I can’t swing it. I’m really happy they’re coming back though!! Hopefully next time they can actually stop in my state.

Also check if there’s a waiting list. I like shows that use the Dice app, the waiting list is pretty reliable for snatching up sold out tickets
