I saw him play Timon in Timon of Athens at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and he was incredible, just an absolute master at work. I didn’t even know he’d be in it until reading the program before the show and realizing that Oh poo poo, Palpatine is here.

I saw him play Timon in the Broadway version of The Lion King and he really captured the essence of ancient Japanese puppet theater.

I can’t imagine going to the theatre for 1 or 2. Those movies are so boring.

3 is at least fun

1 has at least 20-30 genuinely good, fun minutes in it, between a lot of stuff that ranges from "Childrens Adventure Comedy" to "Boring SF Drama"

2 is just garbage. I think its the only movie I've ever fallen asleep watching, and I've done it more than once.

Yeah, like others have said, the podrace and Duel of the Fates on the big screen alone are worth the price of admission

This would also be the first time I see any of the prequels after the rise of Prequel Memes, which should be a fun recontextualization

Yeah. I think episode one is best experienced to just listening to duel of fates. Legit great song.

Everything else I think can safely be forgotten. I regret even seeing it once.

:yeah:

I saw it in theaters as a kid who grew up loving the original trilogy and I remember being massively disappointed by it even then. If your Star Wars movie can't have kids raving about it, what's even the loving point?

The pod race scene was clearly an extended commercial for a video game. Lmao.

it was cool as a kid. I don't care as an adult. Honestly, I've seen every star war on the big screen at this point, and im pretty content. Unless somehow they can re-release the original versions of the OT (i dont give a flying poo poo if it's the 80's versions, or the 95 version. Any pre special ed version of that poo poo please thank you)

F4 has just had such a string of stinkers, I'll believe it when I see it.

Hopefully Dennys brings back their Slamtastic menu and I can finally try that Thing Burger. I should have just ordered it.
