Right now the rules that the party has make it so Trump will be the nominee short of him him dropping dead or starting to advocate open borders. He's de facto the only candidate left in the primary race, so he'll automatically get all the deligates. But the party that makes the rules can change the rules so they can rig the system against Trump if they really, really wanted to. Since this would be shooting themselves in the head (potentially literally), it's not going to happen
