robusta blended with arabica for espresso is great, you get thiccc crema and superb mouthfeel. there's an Ethiopian family-run roaster in my area that does this. I've had some really good stuff from them, but they can't seem to maintain any consistency from batch to batch so I've given up on them for now

I think the main reason trade sanctions would work on America even though they never worked on any other country is that America is chemically dependent on coffee and cutting off the supply would cause riots.
