I remember the Italian teacher of my high school was (or was rumored to be) on the website clubitup.com, which was full of the best and brightest of the new york and north jersey scene clubbing it up. he was supposed to have his shirt ripped open drinking. he didn't get fired for it though but that was the big rumor everyone said about him. edit: oh my god it is still up. can't find a picture of him though. but this is exactly a 2004 time capsule
