I'm just building off of your Verdin analogy, theres only so many of these none shall pass fights Ukraine can pull off before it becomes too much. Remember Verdun was the muddy grave of the French field army and it was only because of American units that stopped the French from having their own October Revolution becausenthe army was just breaking down

the official NATO claim is Russia has used up all tanks it had before the conflict which means either Russia has no tanks and Ukraine still can't push forward or Russia is producing so many new tanks it doesn't matter. I mean I know the real answer is the destroyed tank numbers are horrendously inflated but it's interesting how the initial premise is still bad for Ukraine.

Starsfan posted:Maybe you just aren't clever enough to get the subtle ironic humor Lazerpig brings to his videos. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Lazerpig. The content is extremely nuanced, and without a solid grasp of military operations, most of the references will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Lazerpig's strategic outlook, which is skillfully woven into his commentary—his personal analysis draws heavily from Clausewitzian doctrine, for example. The true fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these references, to realize that they're not just informative—they say something deep about WARFARE. As a consequence, people who dislike Lazerpig truly ARE missing out—of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the depth in Lazerpig's oft-quoted maxim "Control the high ground," which itself is a cryptic reference to the age-old military principle of securing advantageous terrain. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those confounded simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Lazerpig's genius unfolds itself on their screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, I DO have a Lazerpig tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the connoisseurs' eyes only— and even then, they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎
