Once in awhile I'll see a post from someone admitting they lost a lot of money and were like you guys promised us we'd be rich and now I've lost it all, is no one going to actually apologize at the very least for all of this? The replies are always like "hey don't invest anything you're not ready to lose" or "hey none of us put a gun to your head and told you to buy it". Absolutely no empathy at all, even in defeat they're all horrible people.

I knew a guy pre internet that had a manic episode and got all excited about some business crap but he'd fly off on enthusiastic rants about all types of things. That post feels a lot like that. It looks like mentally ill folks having manic episodes are getting snagged in meme stock nonsense. Manic people today can group up on the internet and validate each other. It's kind of sad.
