Henchman of Santa posted:From what I saw on Metal Twitter it was all one guy trying to get them shut down over their “liberal agenda.” From what I’ve seen it seems more likely that they didn’t address a permit issue that they had been aware of, fined for in the past and never resolved, and that the guy complaining about woke metal clubs reporting them wasn’t really the cause of it but on the other hand,  But really, I don’t know. I hope they figure it out one way or the other, I was about to buy spectral voice tickets and I really want to see that show

It's...just odd with Kerry's side project being an identical clone of Slayer. Gary Holt has repeatedly said that he'd jump back in, so I'm pretty sure he's doing it 'cos he loves it. Kerry's been whining about it for years that it stopped. Haven't heard from Tom in years. It's just odd timing.

He just has a good technique that doesn't shred is vocal chords. I don't know if he's just lucky or had training when young though. If you flip back and forth from 80's recordings and modern stuff you can tell he really doesn't hit the high notes like he used to, but where he does sit is still really well done.
