If there've been posts about it on FR I missed them but what is their stance on vaccinating their pets for rabies and poo poo like that? Is there some quack pet mind control government plot to indoctrinate little fluffy?

Further, where do they draw the line on stuff like measles and polio vax for school kids? Because I'm pretty sure your kid can't go to school unless they have those.

We don't need to have that dialogue because it's obvious, trivial, and has already been had a thousand times.
Yeah, this is a common pattern for antivaxx (and to some degree for associated alt-med beliefs). The inconsistency in position between vaccines perversely works to crowbar the rationale on the initiating vaccine into other vaccine contexts. At that point, the premises can be used to rationalize and motivate other fringe beliefs.

Answer this question and you’ll know: Who is there with the power to “do anything” about it?

Is there an AG to bring charges? Is there an army to stop Biden and enforce the Supreme Court ruling? Is there a Congress not controlled effectively by Biden’s fascist party?

You live in a country with a government controlled by fascists. The fascist party has all the power. The Constitution is dead, only raw power matters now.

Hey, remember when the Republicans tried to start impeachment proceedings against Biden for some alleged Burisma bullshit involving Hunter? It turns out that the source made it up. It also turns out that he made it up after talking to Russian spies. Well, since CNN is promoting this article, and there is this statement in the article:

quote:

Congressional Republicans have championed Smirnov’s now-discredited allegations for roughly a year, though not by name. They fought with the FBI to obtain memos about what Smirnov told investigators and publicly released the materials over the FBI’s objections. The congressional Republicans repeatedly praised Smirnov as “credible” and put his uncorroborated claims front-and-center in their impeachment inquiry into the president.

Does that help you decide? 🙂

If not, he has been saying that Joe & Hunter were/are dirty. 🙂

You gotta love this statement:

quote:

The indictment alleges that Smirnov’s story to the FBI “was a fabrication, an amalgam of otherwise unremarkable business meetings and contacts that had actually occurred but at a later date than he claimed and for the purpose of pitching Burisma on the Defendant’s services and products, not for discussing bribes to [Joe Biden] when he was in office.”

New York’s Trump Fraud Findings Refute Judge’s Conclusions: And the entire New York real estate market is noticing with justifiable alarm.

Folks, if any estimate of a property’s market value, NO MATTER HOW WRONG, is called a lie and a fraud, and If any lie can put a borrower out of business, even if there is no reliance on it by the ledner, the entire nature of loan transactions will need wholesale realignment, at great expense to both borrower and lender.

Judge Engoron and Letita James have set a very dangerous and fascistic precedent in New York. If the higher courts don’t overturn this decision, New York State is DOOMED.

Again, it’s Trump’s choice, but assuming lake is showing signs of losing in her senate campaign, there are a bunch of cabinet posts she could work in. Palin, too, as long as she is willing and able to kick some leftist Democrat rear end.

Guys, is women dressing "sexy" gaslighting?

quote:

To: cherry

Christian brothers and Christian sisters have equal responsibilities , both to themselves before the Lord and to each other. even if not married to each other in a given church. They need to watch out for one another and have some spiritual understanding of the inherent weaknesses in each other’s general sex that Satan can use to bring a person into temptation.

That said Christian males AND females can’t always “unsee” what they do see out in the world outside of their families and churches. That is why both male and female Christians need to practice a Christ mindset, that holds all thoughts captive and throws down vain imaginations.

The pastor was wrong about not wanting to give justice to a woman who was raped despite what she was wearing.

Then again women do really need to practice a bit more brutal self honesty add self awareness as to why some will dress as alluringly as they do. A man can learn to avert his eyes and not allow lust to control his actions and women don’t need to dress as sexy sirens while playing the “gas lighting” oh you must have a dirty mind routine with men and themselves!

I suspect this congregation is a fundamentalist, KJV only independent Baptist church based on its name. These churches are extremely counter-cultural. There are some Churches of Christ, old school Pentecostal churches, and strictly confessional Presbyterian congregations that are similar in their orientation. Not that being counter-cultural is bad given the degenerative state of the culture, but his over the top sermon remarks generated negative publicity. They invoke fears of what a “Christian nationalist” regime would be like. The pastor played into the hands of the cultural Marxists.

Florida surgeon general defies science amid measles outbreak posted by freeper where's_the_Outrage?

the article, WaPo posted:

Florida surgeon general Joseph A. Ladapo failed to urge parents to vaccinate their children or keep unvaccinated students home from school as a precaution in a letter to parents at the Fort Lauderdale-area school this week following six confirmed measles cases.

Instead of following what he acknowledged was the “normal” recommendation that parents keep unvaccinated children home for up to 21 days — the incubation period for measles — Ladapo said the state health department “is deferring to parents or guardians to make decisions about school attendance.” The controversial move by Ladapo follows a pattern of bucking public health norms, particularly when it comes to vaccines. Last month, he called for halting the use of mRNA coronavirus vaccines, in a move decried by the public health community.

Ben Hoffman, president of the American Academy of Pediatrics, said Florida’s guidance flies in the face of long-standing and widely accepted public health guidance for measles, which can result in severe complications, including death.....

“The reason why there is a measles outbreak in Florida schools is because too many parents have not had their children protected by the safe and effective measles vaccine,” said John P. Moore, a professor of microbiology and immunology at Weill Cornell Medical College. “And why is that? It’s because anti-vaccine sentiment in Florida comes from the top of the public health food-chain: Joseph Ladapo.”

That’s not going to get worked out in time to address -this- measles outbreak if we assume that cases are due to illegal immigration.

So what to do? Make the best data informed decision possible. If that means get vaccinated or stay at home for approx 21 days or go to school - make that decision.

Most directly, it’s up to the parent or guardian what they do. If your children get measles - it’s your issue to deal with as best you can.

Yes. I know that there were complications from measles in the past and I know what they are. On the flip side, modern medicine has made great strides in treating the viral and bacterial complications of diseases like measles that weren’t available back in the 60’s. i have no doubt many of those complications can be avoided with appropriate medical intervention. Then again, there is that matter of trusting the medical community to do the right thing in treating it. What a Catch 22.

Besides, if the vaccines fail to take and a person comes down with measles as an adult, they are in a world of hurt.

In our current state of hysteria about vaccinations, we need not throw out the baby with the bathwater...not all vaccines are monstrous instruments of the NWO. Some are safer than others and there usually is some risk/benefit study of them before their long-term deployment.

But what happened with the Covid (and probably other vaccines) was an op of dubious, nonexistent, or manipulated data about safety of new vaccines carried by the media and the squelching of any contrary views. This of course, we see after having so much revealed to us in the past three years, is the modus operandi of the agencies.

With Covid, it was a virus, altered to become more transmissible and lethal, a bioweapon of which the remedy was another bioweapon. Safety data was absent, concealed, altered, or fabricated. The timing of its deployment was right NOW in our POTUS election cycle, aiming to keep the China/USA traitors in business and in ascendency, by keeping Trump out of the picture.

The solution is a complete change of personnel at CDC and NIH. We need more CLARITY and TRANSPARENCY on the safety and efficacy research of vaccines.

That is one good thing that must come out of this mass murder called the Covid epidemic.

The CDC says that we're at 1.1 million Americans dead from covid, officially but we know the actual count is significantly higher, but please do go off on how non-life-threatening it is. (gently caress you.)

quote:

To: metmom

That’s what we did when our kids were young. In fact, we sought it out - it was called a measles party - when our friends kids had measles we purposely planned a picnic or sleepover.

There were two reasons for this: it was convenient to have all the neighborhood kids go through it at once - and we wanted to make sure they all got it when they were young.

People seem to have forgotten that exposure is what builds immunity - vaccines are simply an artificial way of exposing the immune system - letting them get exposed naturally is very much the same thing.

The only reason a vaccine would be preferable is if the disease is life threatening enough that natural exposure is too risky - a vaccine could presumably be easier to control and monitor.

I believe this is why Big Pharma had to greatly exaggerate the danger of Covid - if it was known how non life-threatening it was, then natural exposure would have been the way to deal with it - as we do with colds and flus (most of us at least).

They really want to sell those flu shots and Covid vaccines.

Don your tinfoil hats, it's Bill Gates’ Dream of Blocking Sunlight About To Be Realized - What could possibly go wrong? posted by freeper MtnClimber

quote:

"Inside Every Progressive Is A Totalitarian Screaming To Get Out" —David Horowitz

The article is purestrain conspiracy bullshit, derived from a "Slay News" freakout over a paywalled WSJ article that probably discusses things in a more rational matter.

the article posted:

“And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the Earth.” -Rev. 11:18

Bill Gates, ever the demented snake oil salesman, has long argued in favor of a bizarre plan to fight global warming by using experimental geoengineering to partially block the sun’s rays from reaching Earth.

Well, he’s apparently about to get his wish.

Scientists plan to begin pumping chemicals into the sky over the next few weeks and months from several countries around the globe, including the U.S., Australia and Israel.

The idea, promoted by Gates and leftist billionaire George Soros, involves pumping manmade white clouds containing chalk dust and other chemicals into the atmosphere to reflect sunlight away from the Earth’s surface.
[...]
Globalists like Bill Gates and George Soros are doing harm to the environment through their genocidal climate agenda on multiple levels. They advocate blanketing our fertile farmland with toxic solar panels, while filling more acres of farmland with wind turbines that kill birds and other wildlife. They also push electric cars which run on toxic lithium batteries that are going to create an environmental nightmare in the years ahead because, like with the solar panels, there’s no way to safely dispose of them.
[...]
About the devious sun-blocking formula, Soros said: “Our civilization is in danger of collapsing because of the inexorable advance of climate change. The melting of the Greenland ice sheet would increase the level of the oceans by 7 meters. That poses a threat to the survival of our civilization.”

Of course this is all nonsense meant to stoke fear. A fearful population will beg for solutions to the imaginary problem, inviting their own enslavement. More than 20 years ago, Al Gore made the exact same dire predictions about ice melting, polar bears dying, hurricanes increasing, and whole cities being submerged in water. None of these apocalyptic predictions have materialized.

Problem is, any time you dare to mention the obvious (a tic-tac-toe sky)... you are labeled a wacko conspiracy theorist and shut down as such. It’s the same deception as with the “safe and effective” Covid vaccines, the stolen election that never was, and everything else the insane, radical left has done and is doing. It’s all in your imagination... as they point the blame finger at fossil fuels while they’re the ones destroying the planet.

And lo and behold... it looks like the UN is complicit in this agenda of destruction. Shocked, right?

Trump Comes Out Against Alabama’s IVF Ruling: ‘Like the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of Americans’ posted by freeper Miami Rebel

Donald J. Trumo on TRUTH SOCIAL posted:

Under my leadership, the Republican Party will always support the creation of strong, thriving, healthy American families. We want to make it easier for mothers and fathers to have babies, not harder! That includes supporting the availability of fertility treatments like IVF in every State in America. Like the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of Americans, including the VAST MAJORITY of Republicans, Conservatives, Christians, and Pro-Life Americans, I strongly support the availability of IVF for couples who are trying to have a precious baby. Today, I am calling on the Alabama Legislature to act quickly to find an immediate solution to preserve the availability of IVF in Alabama. The Republican Party should always be on the side of the Miracle of Life – and the side of Mothers, Fathers, and their Beautiful Babies. IVF is an important part of that, and our Great Republican Party will always be with you, in your quest, for the ULTIMATE JOY IN LIFE!

let them fight dot gif

So let's talk about the elephant in the room. Why did the Alabama Supreme Court rule this way? So that they can establish life starting at fertilization and thus achieve a justified abortion ban. This will have additional effects on things like contraceptives that can work by, say, preventing implantation. In other words, this ruling is loving dangerous.

Thankfully IVF alone, in isolation, has enough public and political will behind it to allow for pushback. Does freep agree?

We’ve Reached The Tipping With Trump posted by freeper MtnClimber

Upon opening the article I was confronted with this delightful modal dialog

the article posted:

Was the $355 million fine against Donald Trump, for a “crime” that even the judge issuing the ruling admitted hurt no one, a bridge too far?

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul seems to think so, which is why she rushed out to say that other people doing business in New York have nothing to fear: “Law-abiding and rule-following New Yorkers who are businesspeople have nothing to worry about because they’re very different than Donald Trump and his behavior.”

What she should have said is: “if they are different from Donald Trump and his political views.”

Because nothing about this case, or the multitude of other unprecedented legal attacks against the former president — the attempts to kick him off ballots, the two bogus impeachments, the Russia hoax, the endless stream of media mis-reporting — has anything even remotely to do with “upholding the law” or “protecting Democracy.”

These attacks are all a message to anyone who would dare to run as a conservative. Do so, and we will stop at nothing to destroy you.

Hochul became politically active during her college years at Syracuse University, leading a boycott of the student bookstore over high prices and an unsuccessful effort to name the university stadium after alumnus Ernie Davis, a star running back who died of cancer before he could join the National Football League.

Hochul successfully lobbied the university to divest from apartheid South Africa. In the spring of 1979, the student newspaper The Daily Orange awarded her an "A", citing the campus changes as evidence for the grade.

She received a Bachelor of Arts with a major in political science from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University in 1980 and a Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C., in 1984.

After graduation from law school, Hochul began working for a Washington, D.C., law firm, but she found the work unsatisfying.

She then worked as legal counsel and legislative assistant to U.S. Representative John LaFalce and U.S. Senator Daniel Moynihan, and also for the New York State Assembly, before seeking elected office.

You think reality is a circle of salt around my brain keeping witches out?

It is interesting to see absolute Trump support fraying a little in the extreme "pro-life" wing of the party. Like, they are clearly upset that Trump is out there floating a 16-week ban and disagreeing with the Alabama decision, and places like lifesitenews have petitions begging him to change his position and declare that life begins at conception day one. With so many people, the appeal of Trump is the fantasy that he secretly thinks the exact same extremist things as you do, and this is one of the few regressive communities where he's actually on-record as not supporting their endgame.

Now, will pro-lifers still mostly get over it and pull the lever because the local elementary school is transing the kids and Trump will probably start arresting the Gender Rebels? Yeah probably. But it's just interesting seeing the true, actual, no-poo poo Single Issue Voter have to enter the bargaining stage because their ultimate fantasy isn't happening no matter who wins.

Yet she claims physicians at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital refused to terminate the pregnancy, saying there was some chance the pregnancy was still viable.

She underwent emergency surgery at a different hospital when doctors realized when the ectopic pregnancy began to rupture, saying that if she had waited any longer, she would have been 'in extreme danger of losing her life.'

Vaginal bleeding with a serum Hcg (pregnancy level)is above 1000 and no pregnancy seen in the uterus or enlarged fallopian tube can be observed if patient is stable.

The problem is that an baby in the uterus may be to small to see and if you treat with methotrexate then you’ll kill a baby that is just causing a small bleed that isn’t life threatening. If the patient is stable, has good follow up then recheck in 24 to 48 hours to see if the pregnancy hormone level rises and if the ultrasound looks more conclusive.

This is just a cherry picked tough call on an activist that wants to be famous. I’m thinking that is she has boys they’re gonna be transexuals also. Bet on it.

The NRA case is so funny because LaPierre and crew literally stole the donations from their chud members, filling their pockets while the organization crumbled, and diverting money meant to advance the cause of gun ownership into their own bank accounts.

And the Freepers' rage is directed, not at the people who stole all their membership money and destroyed the organization, but at folks who prosecuted those people and held them accountable for stealing all those Freeper dollars.

They can't seriously be asking this question. Do you have any idea of the criminality they have engaged in, conspired in, both in stealing the 2020 election, and the deliberate malfeasance of office (which includes premeditated murder of thousands of Americans during the Plandemic) to put the nation in this state? Another Trump presidency would unquestionably spark investigations that would end with thousands to tens of thousands of demoncrats and RINOs going to prison.

If they can't steal the 2024 election (more ballet stuffing and rigged Dominion voting machines is a given), they must and will do whatever is needed -- to include gunplay and bloodshed -- to prevent Trump47 taking office. Not certifying the election is small potatoes compared to what they will do. Because their very liberty depends on Trump not taking back the office.

Besides, we don’t need to get aggressive with China, just cut them off from the American economy. That’s all it would take for them to recede back within the boundaries of their own country.
The Bush republican RINOs engineered this disaster known as globalism. America used to be the largest creditor in the world. We loaned money to everybody, with the largest economy in the world since 1870.
The ability to manufacture is the ability to create wealth. It’s how we won two world wars.
All that money is now in Chinese banks because the RINOs exported all of our manufacturing to China, and the RINOs have been pocketing the difference ever since. American wages have been stagnant ever since.
And the money we’re sending to Ukraine is money being borrowed from China, to be paid back by future generations of Americans.
This is beyond stupid, it’s treason, plain and simple.
