I don't think Luocha is bad at all, I just think he'll be considered the weakest of the 4 limited sustains. His SP positivity will matter a lot less for DHIL now that Sparkle exists.

“Weakest limited sustain” is being really disingenuous when all the limited sustains are ridiculous in different ways. He’s incredible and provides stuff the other two don’t, like an on-demand cleanse and the ability to not ever have to manually heal so he’s rarely spending SP.

It depends on your own priorities how much the "bonus" stuff matters really. Like yeah Luocha will be able to sustain a Ratio/Topaz team just fine, but Aventurine is obviously gonna have much better synergy with the team, but also how much are you willing to spend your pulls to maximize your followup teams specifically? That kinda stuff. Huohuo is in a similar spot for Argenti and Luocha for DHIL. And in some fights Luocha and FX's AoE Ult can actually be relevant for breaking annoying mobs. If you're just looking for survivability we can safely assume all sustains will do the job if built properly, but the bonus stuff is gonna be the reason why you pick them over the other options for a particular team or fight.

Since I prefarmed and everything some quick thoughts on Sparkle: Good not amazing. Ruan Mei really spoiled me for what a harmony support can do. Does a mono quantum Seele team with Sparkle catch up to newer characters? Kind of. It's still a single target team and things are very multi target now. Overall a good support character and more skill points are always nice. Not a must have. edit - a better summary would be "Sparkle isn't Ruan Mei". everything about sparkle seems much more designed for qingque than seele tbh. the sp stuff, the crit dmg boost, the fact that seele's higher base speed means building pure speed on sparkle works way better with qingque, etc.

Wouldn't running Sparkle and Bronya together enable Bryona to skill spam every turn? Seems like a good combo. Full disclosure, I haven't played with Bronya lately. I don't have her lightcone and only just got her E1.

However DOT teams are not going to eat as well from the crit damage bonus so Ruan Mei is still their primary buffer. For the other team in your pair. No, Sparkle is +1 SP for her skill only rotation, you're not gonna get much out of bronya over a more well rounded support like a Tingyun or even a Pela.
