Honestly the lovely jobs I've had in Alabama, a few with companies known to do that kind of thing at other locations, I've never once had an anti-union campaign cause there was never any real threat of one.

More importantly he’s a college football coach, meaning he had arguably the biggest disparity between management and labor of anyone in the country

I had a dream last night that I was at an LSU football game. I don't remember much else from the game other than LSU managed to what should have been a sure safety into roughing the passer and I laughed at them. Also everyone kept calling LSU the Nittany Lions.

Do not like the Conference Championship being moved to Friday. Memphis at Tulane on Thanksgiving day is a wild choice. Going for those viewer eyeballs may lead to a partially empty stadium. Too many fans will be out of town or unwilling to go to a game on Thanksgiving.

So Army-Navy goes in the books as a non-conference game despite them both being the AAC now.

In the near-impossible scenario they finished 1 and 2 in the AAC; they’d play two weeks in a row.

All I see in that first graph is how absolutely amazing Chris Rodriguez was despite that lovely 2022 O Line. Really the only thing worth remembering about that season.

Ray Davis not too shabby either in 2023. Kentucky has really had quite the streak talented running backs going back about 10 years now (Boom Williams, Benny Snell, CRod, Davis), and only one was a transfer.

CRod was really special. No offense to Benny, but I think Rodriguez was even more physically talented. Hate that he had that NCAA issue that kept him out 4 games in his final season.

UK's HS RB recruiting hasn't been great recently, for one reason or another. Still time for some of the more recent recruits to get a shot, but the enormous kid from OSU is probably going to get the lions share of the carries this year.

A 6'5", 298 lineman hitting a 4.78 is just nuts.

Kenneth Grant, the Michigan DT that chased down an RB to prevent a touchdown last year, apparently has run a 4.95 at 6'3", 339. Freak poo poo.

There is obviously a big difference between running that and running in pads, but I have always wondered if some people and some positions (body types) have different degrees of difference. Like do WRs drop by 10% while DL only drops by 5% or whatever.

I don’t think you can live a year in Lubbock without at least entertaining the idea of a flat Earth. You just step outside each day and look to the horizon and eventually think “maybe this is all there ever was.”

LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY AS IT'S INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT!
Saban has made favorable comments in the past about organizing college football players. He's not reflexively anti-union. But he's obviously on the side of capital here, since he owns seven M-B dealerships. Him just giving some motivational pap instead of sticking his foot in the mud with an anti-organizing speech seems canny. And on brand.
