As improbable as it might seem, there's a sizable plurality of Biden voters who are still very vocally insistent that he's the greatest president yet, or at least, he's not mTrup and if you're disappointed by him you just need to set your expectations lower otherwise you're a wrecker leftist because it's not the misery machine political apparatus that's wrong, it's you for wanting better things like 'not being specifically excluded from basic rights' or 'a government that isn't actively condoning your destruction'. So much awkward phrasing, meaningless quotes all over, inconsistent spelling for names, and each sentence is its own paragraph. Like reading a feel-good story written by Ashish Jha. quote:When you work construction, your jobsite changes regularly.

It started off boring and slow with Not Sure trying to bullshit everyone with a bunch of smart talk: 'Blah blah blah. You gotta believe me! ' That part of the trial sucked! But then the Chief J. just went off. He said, 'Man, whatever! The guy's guilty as poo poo! We all know that.' And he sentenced his rear end to one night of rehabilitation. better prose

I saw an ad bulletin the other day that made me pause. It stated how many people died due to drunk driving in my state last year, that it was too many, and then it urges you not to drink and drive. Say, maybe the reason why the CDC and the WH dropped their entire Covid protocol is because they have the new PrEP monoclonal? https://investors.invivyd.com/news-releases/news-release-details/invivyd-submits-request-emergency-use-authorization-eua-us-fda

Good thing that even if it turns out to be a effective treatment regime, that also helps prevent Long Covid, it'll still only be available to people 65 & over, judging by the previous Paxlovid/anti-viral gate-keeping! Hurray!

nice. study is Kim et al. (2024) Long-Term Autoimmune Inflammatory Rheumatic Outcomes of COVID-19quote:Between 2020 and 2021, among the 10 027 506 Korean participants (mean age, 48.4 years [SD, 13.4]; 50.1% men), 394 274 (3.9%) and 98 596 (0.98%) had a history of COVID-19 or influenza, respectively. After propensity score matching, beyond the first 30 days after infection, patients with COVID-19 were at increased risk for incident [Autoimmune Inflammatory Rheumatic Diseases] compared with uninfected patients (adjusted hazard ratio, 1.25 [95% CI, 1.18 to 1.31]) and influenza-infected control patients (adjusted hazard ratio, 1.30 [CI, 1.02 to 1.59]). The risk for incident AIRD was higher with more severe acute COVID-19. Similar patterns were observed in the Japanese cohort. is it just me or does this suggest influenza infection means you're less likely to end up with autoimmune inflammatory rheumatic diseases than the control group?

Fireside Nut posted:Thank you both!! they all still work if you send to pharmacy, the issue is that depending on [a confluence of several stupid factors], sending to your pharmacy may cost you a bunch of money (either this time or the next time within 12 months, or some stupid bullshit). last i checked, sending over mail is free, but yeah it takes some days. i don't know how much of an issue money is for you, but i think there's a fair chance that it won't be that expensive even if you do get charged, and you can always say no if it's too much =/ a friend of mine in PA used T2T to get it sent to a pharmacy, they asked for his insurance and he was just like "oh no i don't have any" and the pharm apparently wrote some poo poo on some legal looking form and then handed him the pax for free, so, who knows.
