There's no Tarasoff duty in business, your first duty is to the shareholders my dude. e: actually, Tarasoff wouldn't apply even since the crime has already been committed. I think that as long as you're not aware of it before it happens, you're good not report it to law enforcement (although maybe you need to report it to the shareholders under Sarbanes-Oxley? As an aside it's be really nice to see corporate personhood pushed in the other direction a little bit wouldn't it? Like when Boeing kills a whistleblower you obviously can't arrest Boeing the person but maybe Boeings board should have to elect an executive to take the murder charge you know what I mean
