actually there were a couple of reps that brought up repealing the 22nd amendment every year during bush and obama and clinton just to demonstrate how bad of an idea it is. they did not even attempt this when trump. of course, under obama, it got passed around as "obama wants to be president for life!!!" because everything was a conspiracy
