A lot of you seem upset

that people don't care about human rights in a zero sum conflict.

I feel it too. The bombing is bad. The hungry people is bad. Capitalism bad. Not having the toy the other kid is playing with is bad.

I have the luxury to cooperate with my neighbours in the self interest of mutual benefit. I like to feel good about not having to be an rear end to get what I want.

But not everyone has the same luxury.

They will be asses.

We are not better than anyone. We would be, and are, asses too when it serves us, for the same reasons. We are lucky.

We don't like the images, but none of us will save the weak, feed the hungry, or convince anyone that they can share the choicest indivisible holy land.

To those stuck in the boringer stages of grief, I invite you to move on, and join me in acceptance.

Pointless to point this out I know, but the fancy bombs are only needed if the target point is completely obstructed by other structures, necessitating a bomb capable of a precise descent angle.

If the target can be hit by a regular bomb with a regular trajectory, it is cheaper to do so.

Also assuming the story actually means one of the guided versions of the mk84 and not just the dumb bomb. But even the dumb bomb would prolly be accurate enough given Israel can bomb from pretty much whatever altitude they want.

I am sad the thread is getting slow. It must also be demoralizing to watch israel just win slowly.

To an Israeli, the blanket labelling of Palestinians as terrorists makes total sense, and farcical that outsiders deny such an obvious fact. Imagine if someone were throwing rocks at you in your H3, in a crowd that is cheering that person on. Of course you can call them names and run them over.
