Careful drums had an EN thread about his issues with his wife and stepchildren. He talked about his relationship issues where he was this putupon guy who was constantly being overwhelmed with his unruly stepkids and angry wife and then casually mentioned: spoiler since child abuse is obv a trigger for a lot of people physically assaulting one kid, violently throwing his autistic stepson into a chair for timeout and then screaming at his wife that his autistic stepson (different than the kid he assaulted) would never amount to anything where he could hear. People then went through the thread showing other posts where abusive behaviors were strongly implied and it became a bit of a scandal. This thread where a FYAD poster brings up a toxic situation in the grey forums that they first saw in either the infamous GBS superstar thread or the Sagas thread (it was discussed in one of the two or maybe both I remember) is the first major flare up of the idea that FYAD should be deleted I can see. What's really hosed up is that SA doesn't have a lot of accessibility features. So if you're visually impaired, there is no alt text on images for your screen reader to tell you it's 'a picture of a gryphon-like creature drinking coffee on a balcony and being smacked by a giant dick of a dragon flying by'. For some reason only sighted people have to suffer this.
