If that's supposed to be her it seems like an absolutely terrible likeness beyond being a brown haired woman. I guess maybe it could be the character but not using her likeness? Anyway from a quick search I can't find anyone on the net concluding it's her but you, but I guess it's also completely possible no one cares

It's her:

Its fun because that project looks like they had a great time (at first at least) and i think its hella inspirational. It sucks that the RLM crew are such downers on making movies themselves, i mean i get it, it's fucktons of work and didn't pay off for them, but still.

There’s almost nothing you could do with his post-GoT storyline. He’s just wandering the north with a bunch of hicks. You could be really cheesy and bring back the White Walker threat, but they were so trivialized and ultimately pointless in the main series that who the gently caress would care?

This kind of reeks of angling for Adult Swim to pick it up for a series. I mean good on them for trying, but the original wasn’t that great, and I just cant see them coming up with enough material for seasons worth of scripted comedy.

Idk, maybe I’d just be resentful of the boys becoming anything other than schlubs on the fringes of the entertainment industry exiled to the bleak wasteland of the Mid-West.

I've never seen a film prominently featuring james stewart. and his voice... I mean, it's just really drat annoying. not just his accent but the sound of his voice. anyone else vibe with that? it sounds like the man's trying to talk while chewing on a napkin.

anyway I thought the film was going to be more philosophical with the way it starts but I guess hitchcock is less overt with that kind of thing. it turned out to be simple and satisfying.

Rear Window might be a bad first Jimmy Stewart movie to see?

it probably works better if you know him or at least have a vague impression of him as an extremely earnest put-upon everyman, as in It's a Wonderful Life, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, You Can't Take it With You
he was kind of a Tom Hanks "America's Dad" type, all the way down to playing the male lead in The Shop Around the Corner, which was the model You've Got Mail was built on

one of the reasons for the longevity of his career was he was really good at taking that way that people saw him and kinda using it, taking it to some weird and dark places, and that's something his collabs with Hitchcock excelled at

I like Mr Smith but it's pretty much the most wide-eyed, gee-shucks, gosh I just love this great country, and, I know there's corruption, but we can overcome it if we're just pure enough of heart and believe in the dream of America :kiddo: poo poo ever put to film

and then in Rope he's cast in this role where that guy is like a dark father figure that unknowingly inspired two of his pupils to murder, and in Rear Window you see him wrapped up in this kind of voyeuristic obsession, and it goes even further in Vertigo. and uh I don't think I saw The Man Who Knew Too Much

it's funny, nobody really cares anymore, but Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, It's a Wonderful Life, You Can't Take it With You, Rear Window, Vertigo, Rope, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Harvey, The Philedelphia Story, Anatomy of a Murder, and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance was an absolutely insane career, at the time

I truly and honestly hope that this is an exceptionally good movie. Like, a powerful statement on human nature that leaves audiences with a greater understanding of themselves and the world in general. I'm never going to watch it, but the kind of people who will be watching it deserve to see a movie like that.
