I'm sure most people know this but the remakes of the original MW and MW2 have the graphics updated for them to look like modern games. I always thought they were just remasters until I played them. They hold up too.

tried the mafia definitive series, finished and enjoyed the first, and dropped the second within ten minutes the tech downgrade I could deal with but what in the hell was up with that intro

Blops 1 and 2 are good and 2 is arguably the best multi the series has been. Idk about in 2024 though

The third was pretty good, although despite having a good story the whole 'take over the town' stuff gets kind of repetitive.

Mafia 1 & 2 are good, I tried so hard to get into 3 but after a good intro it devolves into open world ubisoft poo poo. It felt like they ran out of money and tried to pad the game. Shame, because the setting and story seemed cool.

MW2 in 2009 took everything and ramped it up all the way, which is why it’s STILL the best multiplayer, followed by BLOPS2.

I missed the boat on MW1 and MW2 so BLOPS 1 is my personal favorite CoD. Most memorable campaign in the series to me and the multiplayer was solid. I miss playing multiplayer with goons in it too. By the time MW3 and BLOPS 2 came out, they hosed with the lag compensation to the point where they weren't fun anymore. I sold my copy of BLOPS 2 a few months after launch, bought BF3, and haven't really touched CoD since.

Not too hard, only one puzzle really stumped me and it's one I had "solved" but couldn't figure out why the solution wasn't working. Very mild spoiler hint if you get stuck: rusty pig. 4/5 gamepass delivers.

I don't get why FC3 Classic didn't go for 60fps but hey... I rather play the 360 release even if it has lower resolution.

So, if I had to remake the ranking with current experiences, it'd be easily in my top 2. Multiplayer that is, campaign is great but I'll always have a soft spot for the OG (and United Offensive) and CoD4.

Does Ubisoft think most people will be too dumb to cancel their subscription after the month it takes to finish the game rather than spend the equivalent of 8 months on the ultimate edition upfront? Because they're probably right.

Botany Manor was a really solid little jaunt and I'm glad it exists. Only takes a handful of hours to beat and it's complex enough to make you feel clever but not so complex that it leaves you banging your head against the wall. It has heart, too, with a nice little background motivator that keeps you wanting to get poo poo figured out.
