Always loved that one lol Come on side effect of SSRI meds for depression & anxiety is an increased risk of suicidal thoughts, especially in the first 4-8 weeks on them. Combine that with another common side effect, erectile dysfunction, & starting SSRIs can be a pretty bad time. I do sometimes wonder if they don't just intentionally make medicine with ironic side effects.
