I'm at episode 5 and they really captured that feeling of exploring an abandoned building or vault with their individual stories and weirdness. I'm stupidly invested in the side story of what's going on in the vaults where Lucy's brother is in, I'm sure it's going to be some dumb bs reveal but I'm hooked. Also love how being in a power armor does not make you less of a complete dork

being a vault dweller is an easy plot hook because they all live in vaults and have little to no knowledge of the outside world making it easier to explain things to the players and the vaults have a bunch of crazy poo poo going on in them that make them good for dungeons to explore

on twitter a bethseda employee tweeted that it was canon that the male player character in 4 laughed and waved as his companion brutally executed a canadian rebel during the great war as shown in the intro to Fallout 1. he then had to backtrack and tweet that it wasnt canon at all actually after everyone pointed out that made him a hosed up war criminal lol

One of the main cards in the MTG fallout thing is The Wise Mothman* and i had zero clue where the gently caress it was from so I assumed it was from one of the new vegas expansions that I never played, but probably should.
