Though he liked the Expanse and didn't finish the series after buying it.

If Bezos doesn’t fund a SG-1 revival then we know he’s a goauld.

Some of those fuckera have got to be goa'ulds. But what kind of organization would protect them, it'd have to be some massive non-profit or religious thing that recruits and controls the rich and famous and educates it's members about the true history of earth and it's alien influences.

John Wick of Dogs posted:Or, novel idea, they could just hire elderly actors There's some misremembered information above as the time jump is only 30 years and humans in The Expanse already live longer than we do so the characters being in their 50's/60's isn't that big of a deal and certainly doesn't require extensive make-up or recasting.

Jack has really lost his loving mind in this episode where he just steals a gizmo from the Tollan, and it's impressive how he's really just maybe 2% more of an rear end in a top hat than normal and it takes him from lovable scamp to completely over the line maniac.

He can be a smartass and a dick, but he's never cruel. That's what's jarring, I think. The way he spoke to the people close to him.

This virtual crystal skull pyramid chasm set is pretty impressive for year 2000 television Although Daniel keeps saying this crystal skull is identical to the one his grandfather found when it literally isn't to the one he showed pictures of before. They are literally different props. You guys make the props, why didn't you make it identical

Thor: O'Neill. I've got no hope, no plan, and no chance. The replicators are about to land and destroy your planet and I can't stop it and neither can you probably. We are all going to die. She was pregnant as hell. Which made it pretty funny in literally the next episode when Jack was like "I have to go back!" but it was just a cover for being a double agent. He's never going back lol

This is literally how military training flights work, so as pilots they would absolutely know how to set that up. It is strictly against the rules to use a government aircraft to go visit your hometown for a weekend to attend a football game. However, it is entirely legal and justified to do a cross-country flight which satisfies routine training requirements, and visit an ROTC unit for the weekend to do a promotional show-and-tell static display. And if there happens to be a football game that weekend, well, that's just a happy coincidence.

You can dial a gate that has no power and it works fine, so long as the event horizon can form

once or twice they mention how much energy is required to dial the gate, so it's definitely expensive and they're not going to do it on a whim, except you know when they do.
