Lions traded next year's third for Giovanni Manu, a tackle out of Canada.

Dude is huge but wonder how he will translate to the NFL.

It's amazing what they can do with computers these days.

It’s a fourth rounder, so whatever, but drafting a punter there seems odd. There wasn’t anyone on defense we could’ve drafted, even for depth?

Bears have gone all in on offense, which should minimize the need for a punter.

It's good to see Poles truly understand the gravity of his error thinking he can draft his way into an offense and get the most important bears ball position

Yea this makes no sense. We made a team not even in our own conference give up draft capital to a team that is in our conference. This is supposed to be a good thing somehow?

It would make sense if they were division rivals I guess, otherwise it was a pointless thing to do, if it even happened.

I think Sean Payton probably hates Minnesota based on his last few playoff appearances with the Saints.

i have to imagine this is the first time that (barring any weird deals) this is the first bears draft where they didn't take a defensive player.

The no defense dream is dead as they picked up a 5th round pick to draft Austin Booker from Kansas.

We got Caleb and Odunze so honestly the Bears can do whatever the gently caress they want with late round picks and I'm ok with it. Taylor is the best punter in the draft, so why not?

They got an edge in the 5th round, so I'm hoping he can help some. The Bears picked up a league-average center during free agency and honestly that's a huge improvement over what they had last year.

Im happy with all the guys we got. The bears actually needed a punter because they were near the bottom of the league. Tory booming a punt for 70 yards will be nice.

He played primarily guard in college so if the intention is to play him at center he'll likely be the backup as he gets caught up to speed with the NFL.

Does Hafley's defense use a Rover type?

He prefers running single high so yes. Which is why they paid McKinney to play that role and now are drafting a bunch of hybrid safety types because they can end up playing slot corner and such more so than a traditional safety spot.
