I won't do "where I was on 9/11" but I will note the high school theater competition had a play that tried to take "To know a person, you must walk a mile in their shoes" and opened with a New York fire fighter talking about his boots. That was the least embarrassing part of the play.

I was a senior in high school. We were watching the news in first period completely flabbergasted. The principal came by and made us turn off the tv. Classes will go on as normal he said.
