Bruce Springsteen has a song about Youngstown Ohio. Casual listeners might not realize that the "sweet Jenny" he mentions is not a woman but the name of a blast furnace. I have not spoken with Springsteen but this seems to be the most likely possibility.

It has a lot of restraunts and venues and a large active downtown, as well as a minor league baseball stadium and team that are superior to many major league counterparts. If I was going to hang out there I'd take you to The Surf Bar, which is my personal favorite. It's a old concrete squat building with a chain link fence around this back concrete deck former parking lot, and they filled all the space with bocce courts and pic nc ic tables and a bar and shuffleboard and such. It owns. What do you want to know? |

Where I live, Carrboro, is the crazy communist liberal hippie area. E; depends on where in durham you live, some areas are very very safe, some are eh. There are lots of parks, and people go week ending in Appalachia and stuff. Idk there are safe neighborhoods with more reasonable prices as well, the real estate isn't that inflated except in the yuppie high rises and w.e. I mean I live in the nicest poverty area I've ever seen. I came from police pulling bodies out of my aprtments ornamental pond in Charlotte to liberal paradise and my rent even went down.

I had work in Lubbock Texas for 4 days. Partway through my last night there my door was kicked in by a 5 foot angry wife i didn't know existed. She was unkind. So basically if you go to Lubbock you may be murdered by tiny teas women in the middle of the night. Also weird liquor laws. (raleigh is very nice) |
