Snowglobe of Doom posted:LA Beast update: he was speeding and flipped his car and got a collapsed lung during the crash and from the way he tells it he could have easily been killed if things had gone slightly differently 'I'm not going to go into what happened; there's a lot of private stuff" This from the guy who posts the status of his bowels on Youtube? Driving while stoned or drunk? I'm guessing drunk since he was speeding.

Definitely a pressurized water main. They bury the watermains (here in the US at least) at about 6 feet, and the sand covering his car is consistent with that. Sewage lines rarely get pressurized enough to blow, and when they do, they usually start backing up other sewage lines first. Azhais posted:http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-08-16/suing-a-debt-collector-now-they-can-buy-your-lawsuit That is a weird set of circumstances that led to it being possible to do that. So that's not a judge going, "Hur, I'll dismantle consumer protections," that was a judge trying to unravel a legal knot that the intersection of several laws created by not being written to account for each other.

The NSA is part of the DOD, and the DNI is basically required to be current or former armed forces, so treating the intelligence community as military isn't the most outrageous thing I've heard.

That got me to laugh the gently caress out loud. It makes a perverse sense too-- reality shows are semi-scripted team exercises where you need to be able to read both the actors and producers simultaneously in a marathon format; anyone who could play ball well enough to help secure the show a second season through sheer force of personality is logically someone you can employ as a team member.
