It's literally just liberals mad that a black man had the audacity to speak out and disagree with their paternalistic "we know what's best for you" bullshit.

I mean yeah, Killer Mike has said some conspiracy theory poo poo, you don't need to make up dumb poo poo, look at Reagan and the bit about being under surveillance for spitting the truth about that awful bastard. And yet, there's plenty of examples in history of artists who have been put under surveillance for similar things. "Just because you're paranoid doesn't meant they aren't out to get you" & all that.

Dead Prez and Immortal Technique have all kinds of conspiracy stuff in their lyrics too, it's not that they're cranks, it's that conpiracism is a good reference point for how hosed up the world looks from ground level and how powerless and paranoid people feel.

I am late as hell to the game - I'd listened to some bits and pieces on youtube strolls, but it wasn't until this song I said "wait this is loving phenominal". I must have played it back on youtube maybe 200 times in the first two or three weeks I'd found it.

What kind of beep boop sperglord do you have to be in order to believe that song lyrics must be some kind of 100% literal description of the artist's personal opinions?

This does not make sense when, again, aggregate indicia also indicate improvements. The belief that things are worse is false. It remains false.
I got the Xmas video and the I Shall Not be Moved videos crossed because I was listening to them back to back repeatedly for a time.

Yeah, I don't think that specific example is like "people are actually spying on me!!!" like a conspiracy theory instead of just referencing incidents like that, and how the state apparatus is often used to monitor radicals.

I'm sure he has some dumb opinions - they were big into Jill Stein during the 2016 elections for example, and the US green party is nutty as gently caress- and I'm not intimately familiar with his entire political outlook, so I'm sure he's got some things I'd call crazy. But describing him as a "crazy conspiracy theorist" is not consistant with what I've heard from him/read about.

Go away liberal, your time has come & gone.
To be fair, the American election was basically like a plane crash. It wasn't enough for one thing to go wrong, five or six things had to go wrong at once, and if any one of them hadn't happened then disaster would have been averted. Two of those things were the DNC clearing the field for the worst possible candidate and her then running an awful campaign, and a third was Russian hacking. (Others include Comey's leak, massive voter suppression following a 5-4 decision that overturned a major part of the Voting Rights Act, and of course the fact that Murdoch and talk radio turned a solid 35% of the country into insane fascist death cultists in the first place.)

That seems to no longer be a generalised case. From my brief reading it seems as if they are more in favour of different things in regards to Brexit. Freedom of movement is the big one that divides Labour I suspect.

But the truth is that Brexit remains a poisoned chalice that ages all political parties that drink from it horribly like the false grail in Last Crusade.
