Instead of a fixed roster, they list the available shifts and it's up to you to request them, or you type in the hours you want to work and it spits out a roster that roughly matches your request. Whether that is a good thing or not depends on the type job, the hours you like to work, and whether there are enough shifts to go around. This wasn't really a debate, more of a joint conference, anything held at the press club is automatically poo poo. The first debate was better because actual people were there rather than these Fairfax and Murdoch drones trying 'written-on-a-napkin' gotcha questions. It doesn't work, the politician will avoid it to spout pre-script every single time. Shorten had the natural advantage here because Turnbull plays the Press Club game like a vinyl record. Shorten can just drop zingers all day to bring attention to how robotic the whole thing is.

Holy poo poo, I think we're at a point where a political comedy show is a major leading force in political discourse. And not even in the Colbert way where it's how most people are listening to it.

The truth is that you cannot have drumsticks and wings without herbs and spices and my policy is that herbs and spices should be funded, regardless of your postcode and delivered to your door at high speed. That is why Labor is proposing FTTP. Feed them the Poultry.
