Field: Accounting/finance/office assistance/sales/gopher

Education: Half-finished (in progress) B.S. in Accounting/finance :unsmith:

Experience: Mostly retail/machine shops/security, but one temp office job

Skills: Quickbooks, I can pick up other systems easy enough. Some MS office (gotta get better!)

Job Seeker

Location: Boston area (North shore, specifically)

Will complete a BSBA in Accounting by the end of 2012. I plan to get my CPA after that.

I have mainly manufacturing and customer service experience, but I worked temporarily as an office assistant entering data into Quickbooks and excel.

Looking for a paid/unpaid internship for summer 2012, or even better, a part time job.

Looking to hire goons who happen to be CPAs or are experienced with governmental auditing or the casino auditing industry. 2+ years of governmental accounting experience would be ideal. The firm is http://www.josepheve.com ; one thing is we travel ALOT (80% + possible). We have offices in Montana, Utah, and Oklahoma is planned, however if you live near a major airport long distance employment is possible. Please email yo.ahzzma@josepheve.com with your resume.

I'm finishing up a BS in Accounting this fall, and while I only have some experience in office support and tax preparation, the plan is to start studying and then take the CPA as soon as I'm done. Is there any type of internship or something more entry level?

I just wanted to share that there are still open positions available for this role and others.

We have openings across the country (but mostly at our centers in Orlando, Phoenix, Denver, Austin, and Indianapolis). Most positions are in customer service or financial advising but we also have openings in IT, HR, accounting and other corporate functions.

I don't want to post our jobs website here but if you PM me I can send you details. I have been told that all qualified candidates who are referred through a current employee will be given an interview.

Do you forsee the hiring to continue? I'm looking to move to a part of the country with a lower cost of living (I'm in Boston now) but I want to have a job lined up, of course.
I think I'm qualified enough. BS in Accounting, Econ minor, in an MBA program currently. Plenty of customer service and office experience. Think they would consider someone who would have to relocate? (no relocation assistance needed)

Would you mind sending me an email as well? I have a BS in Accounting, going for my MBA, and I'm currently in the accounting department of a Boston area healthcare organization. The job is getting a bit stale.

Job Seeker

Location: Arizona, but looking to get the gently caress out. Willing to consider any location from which you can fly to China with at most one layover, and which has enough of an Asian population to support Asian grocery stores. China would be ideal.

Education: Master of Library Science, BA Japanese/Business Administration, AA Korean, MA in Special Education (just finished)

Seeking: Teaching, particularly SpEd (learning disabilities/behavior...I can work with autism as well, but I don't consider myself experienced enough there to handle an autism room by myself); School Library Media (in a state where I can be certified immediately, it varies a lot); maybe textbooks or educational software; I'd consider public library reference or Asian Studies libraries, but those are either rare as hen's teeth or have thousands of applicants

Experience:

3 years teaching in China, work in various libraries, US Air Force SigInt, lots of miscellaneous

Did you teach in Tianjin?

Beijing. Never even been to Tianjin.

Sorry for the cryptic question with no other information. There is a goon who posts in the China thread in LAN who works at an education company, for lack of a better term, in Tianjin. I think his forums name is Lady Galaga now? If you want to go back to teaching in China, I'm sure he could hook you up.
