i sure miss my favorite western webcomic, gunnerkrigg court. it's a shame it went on hiatus in like 2018 or 2019 and never came back, but i suppose things could have been a lot worse! oh well.

Yeah, it�s a real shame what happened with them joining a very culty born-again congregation and all mid-COVID, especially since they decided to ditch all the cool local mythology etc. writing in their future stuff in favour of spreading the word via bunny conspiracy comics� but they apparently had the whole year arc plotted and committed to finishing their original content/tone before going all uh. That. So it somehow ended in a satisfying way.

it's a wild read but it's also very easy to see how she ended up how she did. like, the sort of of person who thinks of themselves as progressive but thinks about things in the way she did (at least in her telling of her past views) is exactly the sort of person who's going to have a weird spiral and get into conspiracy theories and reconvert to christianity even if i wouldn't have necessarily expected that to all be triggered by obsessing over the heat death of the universe

oh yeah, no arguments here. the previous page was one of the worst in a while, for a whole variety of reasons (mostly the dialogue, for me)
