I have no idea what I'm doing, but I guess that shouldn't be a problem!

Membership number 5447764.

And my dude will be Love, the Strangler.

All points into discipline, right? Wait until the first guy dies, and the rest of them will be too horrified to fight.

How do stranglers with their small size but strength+++ sort out in this?

Not very well :(

I finally started tesfs, hoping to exploit the new broken strangle mechanics, but it seems the AI is still too dumb to use its ability to instakill anything in three actions.

Darn, if that latch on for the unarmored neck had lasted a little longer, Love would have vampired Cat to death.

I'd be interested in seeing some three faction fights, or set them in a different section of the arena, or something like that.

An arena that's fair for a three being free-for-all is impossible in DF thanks to the squared grid. It's a great idea and something I'd love to see, but there would always be one fighter further away from the other two (and therefore at an advantage) or one player stuck in between the others (bad for obvious reasons.

If you want multiple fighter brawls, it has to be even numbers for fairness.

Put them in the maze at an equal distance.

That's going to be a problem.

Fortunately, that brings my 77 dwarfbux up to 276. If only I had bet heavily on this match instead of the last one.

In retrospect, naming my fighter after the tennis term for 'no points' was a bad idea.

Well, since it's a test tournament, we kinda should see the stuff at the end.

Tunicate, you are managing Love, a female Strangler fighter.

She has the following equipment.
Oak Wood Helm
Copper Mail Shirt
Leather Gauntlets

She has the following skills.
Level 4 Fighting (Skilled)
Level 1 Wrestling (Novice)
Level 14 Biting (Grand Master)
Level 10 Dodging (Accomplished)
Level 2 Armor (Adequate)

I'm actually curious how the opportunities randomly given by 'fighting' combine with the attack-choice on the AI. I wouldn't be surprised if having less fighting would result in better overall performance.

Also: if you are a big dude wrestling and striking are helpful. If you are little, it sucks balls. We did some testing and this is why the strangler on our team went with biting because we found biting to be far more effective for a little dude than wrestling/striking.

Yeah, it's pretty hilarious how superior teeth are to using four arms.

Hey, the macro and new arena setup seems to have at least one problem - I redownloaded Love and it enters OAKEN HELMS instead of OAKEN HELM, which prevents the autocomplete from working.

EDIT: I can't seem to make any wooden high boots or gauntlets either.
