I figured he was coming for Cordelia anyways, since their ears are similar. It's been too long since we've seen her and Peridot, and maybe the Nightmare Knight bosses even her around.

I realize limbo is about seeing how low you can go, but Nautilus raises the bar yet again for being amazing. We've only seen a peak of Piano, true, but Nautilus is going to be a hard act for any of the autographers to follow.

The game certainly didn't let me down! I've seen fan projects gone through Ace Attorney with blah writing, but this one never failed to entertain. Possibly because Cabbage was in it being Cabbage, but still...

Splashmaster wrecked Princess Nautilus' home. I expect this cannon to go off, and that the castle we run into at each other land gets wrecked (maybe excepting one, to play with our expectations.)

I'd be disappointed were this the case. Like Gunnerkrigg Court's Boxbot, Bacon was the comic's "lol this character is terrible mascot. " Ever since Book 3's performance, the character was endearing in another way, and it's hard not too cheer Bacon on for their success. For this to be a completely different character would rob Bacon of some of their victories.

Furthermore, knowing what it's like to be reviled, there's no better character in the story to stand of for Gary and comfort him.

e: In fact, I think there's a webcomic called Cucumber Quest that's about people who are stuck repeating their failure ad infinitum, and remain in the same unsolvable antagonism.
The manner in which they unwrap this fact IS compelling, for the protagonists and antagonists alike.

In another year or so, you can toss me an "I told you so" but in terms of breaking a chain of failure I feel this will be more satisfying than others of its kind have been.

See, Cucumber Quest is basically a love letter to the saccharine and silly fantasy universes of Paper Mario and Kirby, in both style and substance. It's incredibly light, but not necessarily kiddy. It's very general audience; if you have any sort of soul you will find it quite endearing and funny!

It is a good webcomic.
