Wow The Great Gatsby looks incredible! I agree with DivisionPost, No Church in the Wild doesn't fit (it doesn't help I've always disliked that song) but Love is Blindness by Jack White is great. Especially in that shot where DiCaprio is screaming.

For some reason I had it in my mind that Scorcese was doing this production, and seeing Baz Luhrmann and the visuals really threw me for a loop.

I really hope Cloud Atlas is good, I loved the book. It definitely looks interesting. I really liked the shot of the car crash from inside the car. Interesting to see it from that perspective without an immediate cut away.

Here's the trailer for The Place Beyond the Pines, the new movie from Derek Cianfrance (Blue Valentine), with Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Ben Mendelsohn, and some other awesome people. This looks utterly fantastic, and I'm going to rev the hype train as hard as I can for what should be one of the best movies of 2013. March can't come soon enough.

This looks amazing, thanks for the headsup.

This basically looks like a higher budget version of Act of Valor, by which I mean a completely shameless and disgusting piece of propaganda. Absolutely vile- I don't know what it is about Mark Wahlberg, but the handful of really good movies he's done has made me perpetually let down by all the garbage he does.

Our soldiers are so brave :patriot:

edit: To contribute, here's the new David O Russell movie with an absolutely great cast.

http://www.indiewire.com/article/wa...american-hustle

I have to say, the utter lack of expository dialog in this trailer is really refreshing- especially considering all but the penultimate plot point of Silver Linings Playbook was telegraphed in its trailer. It's also refreshing to see Christian Bale don some makeup and a wig for a change. In my wildest dreams this will be a spiritual successor to Boogie Nights, but I'm not holding my breath.

I dunno, Peter Berg won me over with Friday Night Lights... this has a chance

Some trailers amplify your already sizable appetite for a movie. Others catch you off guard by letting you know a filmmaker or star you like has something new coming out that you didn't previously know about.

Still others just hit you from way out in left field. You never heard of this, you never heard of anybody involved with this, you don't even normally seek out this kind of movie (in this case, documentary), but you watch the trailer and you want it YESTERDAY.

Guess which one this is.

I read that they put multiple days into this scene and then decided to axe it entirely because it disrupted the flow of the movie or something. No wonder they decided to release it ahead of time instead to promote the movie.

Also apparently the movie itself is 2 1/2 hours long :stare: Not sure if that's good or bad, The Raid was pretty exhausting at nearly an hour shorter.
