I don't want to peer to hard into this thread because of spoilers but I just finished up Yakuza 4 and it was just incredible. I loved all the characters almost equally (Tanimura was pretty terrible at first). But man the plot description for 5 sounds incredible. Heart skipped when I saw Haruka becoming a pop idol, is this atleast fun to play or done cool? I googled image search some pictures and it makes it out like a very detailed simulator like talk shows and hand shaking. Also having problems ranking the games from best. Feel like I enjoyed all of them equally, maybe 2 more equally. Sorry if this post is terrible I'm very new years partied out.

No it's not that, it's like a blip on submarines radar. I wasn't drunk either so I couldn't mistake it for rumbling and it still happens every now and again. Don't seem to be near any missions when it happens just random streets. Makes me think i'm detecting locker keys before the game gives me the ablity to collect them

Why does the Virtual Reality Machine get worse and worse with every installment? It's debut in 3 was great because every boss you were refighting had a cool graphical gimmick that felt like they were just playing around with the new graphics engine. I liked fighting a giant stone gangsters, now it's just a badly implemented sidescroller

I'm in a hurry to get to Christmas brunch, I beat the game and was wondering if anyone could detail some of the post game or near end game stuff I need to complete. I need t complete Harukas stand up substorie but then I noticed I got a challenge by Noa Amon also I'm in adventure me and Harukas princess league stuff has been reset. Not sure if it's new content. I kno Kiriyu is missing a sidequest but I'm not sure what. I also have not been invited to Bictory Road for all characters. P.s. Harukas vocaloid costume is horrible

I can't believe I forgot how fun e snowball mini game was, in the post game and looked over my key items to find the snowball thrower. I remember near the launch of this someone in the thread couldn' find the new version of the arcade game ...xevios? The pretty one with all get shiny spaceships? what's everyone's opinion on the new version of that game? I couldn't get into it as much but man it sure was pretty

I managed to not touch the hostess stuff once besides the segment with Saiyama's prison time. It feels weird to not be the least bit curious, espicially how they did differant things like make it first person

The Haruka Comedy sidequest counts as completed if you pass the first stage which is probably easier to brute force as I gave up on the second one

Where the gently caress was Hana? She was great in Dead Souls so people obviously loved her and she had a voice cameo but it's not like they needed face capturing software for her actress. hell we have had sidequests from previously voiced charecters like Yuno and Dr Eri for the past couple games

Also there was a quest in Yakuza 2 when a idol manager tried to kidnap Haruka and in the end Haruka and Uncle Kaz vowed when Haruka is ready, he can manage her It was simultaneously foreshadowed and swept away

They didn't really hint at any additional playable characters out of the returning cast, like I'm sure Akiyama will be showing up for a scene or two but if they are serious ending Kazuma's Legacy (they are not), then a Kiriyu focused game is fitting. Anyone been to Hiroshima before? How is the Parkour there
