Reminds me of an issue in Far Cry 3 I sometimes had where Jason would be unable to bridge a two-inch rise in the ground without jumping and alerting whoever he was trying to sneak up on. This also affected the weapon store in the first village too, so I'd be trying to leap into the door.

In Half-Life 2, headcrabs and antlions drown in water, but it has no effect on human enemies. Normally, this never comes up. But in SMOD, which made all kinds of absurd changes, you had soldiers shooting at you from the bottom of rivers in at least one level.

The point of the 24 Hours of Le Mans is actually to get drunk and have a giant party, and oh yeah there are cars going by in the background.  But yeah the original idea was to make more durable cars, and then it became this coveted prize the way insane ideas often do. I find the concept and the atmosphere around it rather fascinating, but not everyone does.

If you look at it from 1999 onward the art in Penny Arcade kind of follows a parabolic trajectory. For a while it's steadily improving but at some point it just stops and begins degrading at a comparable rate. I dunno, haven't checked it out in a while.
