Still a regular 4 stroke (I guess). You just need to program your ECU to take advantage of the increased compression when the injectors are active.

Fun fact, the Saab 99 Turbo S had water injection as factory standard. A lot of ww2 warplanes also had water injection for extra power on takeoff.

I think I saw this at a car show when I was like 10-11 years old. If I remember correctly it had two cameras in the front and a primitive sort of adaptive cruise control / autopilot which could (in theory) follow the painted lines on the road and keep distance to vehicles in front. The system could also lock on to a car in front and follow it automatically.
