Serperoth posted:I don't mind alphanumeric as long as it parses to something. "BMW 320i". Cool, it's a 3-series, with a 2-litre engine with direct injection, got it... Except they don't all keep that, the Mercedes C180 has a 1,5L engine. Peugeot used to be simple with its numbers too. 106, small city car, 206 hatchback, 406 sedan, all of that generation. Not incredibly inspiring, but hey, makes sense. Yeah, for BMW the second and third number hasn't been equal to displacement since I want to say the early 2000s? Now it's more "bigger number = more horsepower". For example, in a 2013 3 series, the 316d, 318d, 320d and 325d all had a 2 litre engine.

Maybe not the 22 seater variant, but didn't we have someone in AI that bought an airport shuttle Ford, I think he posted some rust repair pics that also showed how shoddily built it was?

Tbh, it gets nearly that bad every goddamn winter when the first snow arrives here, and we basically have Minnesota weather. I'm just as baffled every year that people apparently forget how to drive in snow.

I got distracted during installation and ran without that hose for over a year, since it it was a stock 350 and I'm used to some more power I just figured that the bad throttle response and low power was how a stock 350 felt.

Just-In-Timeberlake posted:e: also the number of people who have no understanding of how to rock a car to get some momentum going is mind boggling, had instruct pretty much all those people on what to do. The last few times I've helped stuck people, its always been the same story. "When you start rolling, take it easy on the throttle ok?" (I don't even bother trying to tell people how to rock, it's impossible.) And as soon as they think they're unstuck they floor it and get stuck again after two feet. Repeat several times before they are unstuck enough, they *never* stop doing the full-throttle routine.
