The sound makes me think 454, but more versed hot rod guys could probably identify more accurately. The ornamentation was added later, obviously. Yeah, that's a Caprice, one of my fav Murrican cars and I'd say the engine's some sorta big block variety.

It got stolen and ruined and the insurance company wouldn't repair it so they sent it to the wrecker. RIP.
