God drat it, no no no, why did they have to put a modern interior in it? Javelins (and AMXs) are rare as hen's teeth in Australia drat it. And why go to all that effort with the drive train and not use the Turbo motor? It's like doing an engine swap and putting in a LT1 instead of LSx into a car.

Koenigsegg almost has a cool key, but they made it the size of your hand and it probably weighs 8 lbs. It's made of solid silver and has a small rubber spot on the back to operate the lock and unlock buttons for the doors. When you get in the car there's a small pocket between the seats that it lays in.

There are something like 10+ radiators in it, which would bulk up the weight. It isn't a lightweight like the McLaren F1 roadcar was.

I actually prefer the look of this one; the patina and dust just.. suit it somehow! (Also it doesn't have a bad paintjob, unlike the red one).

And finally, the car that is apparently being restored there. All of it's bodywork is behind the green Fairlane, but the badging on the back of the truck says Vauxhaull. The ID plate states General Motors, so I think it may be an FJ or FX that was.. sent to Europe or something? I'm not sure! :iiam:

And sorry for the bad photos, wasn't thinking I would get to see these today, so all I had on me was my phone.
Both of the trucks are International, the first truck clearly says that :)

The car, taking a stab, is a Vauxhall of some sort.

Was bored on Sunday after doing a 8.2km fun run, so went for a drive. Came across a sign pointing to a car museum in a small town. So checked it out. I wasn't expecting much, probably a small collection of Australian cars and some imports, but I was proven very wrong

Album: https://plus.google.com/photos/103600626374349588703/albums/5905950927573270993?authkey=CNXrorqm7b6DDw

Out the front was a Reliant Robin! And it wasn't owned by the museum either.

Subaru 360! Never seen one in my life, the museum is getting better

A Reliant, but can't remember the model. Not a Kitten.

DAF car with the first production CVT transmission. Look at the size of the belts!

Not one, but two Tatras! I have never seen one in my life, so seeing two in one location is pretty amazing. The owner of the museum has a later model Tatra in his garage that he is working on

One of many Studebakers that the owner had. Including a strange four door Avanti

Another car that I have never seen in the flesh, a Nash Metropolitan!

The museum has a ton of post WW2 economy cars, including this Bond Bug

The Lightburn Zeta - when an Australian washing machine company thinks it can make a car

Messerschmidt! Looks so tiny alongside the 1947 Plymouth. Even tiny compared to the Trojan behind it.

Studebaker Zip-Van

Wartburg! Surprised any had survived East Germany

Talking about East German, here's a very battered Trabant rally car

This Hudson Super Wasp was in its own room, you could only see it through small windows. Not sure why.

And the Sinclair C5
