I went to my FLGS to grab some comics, and ended up getting the starter of this and doing the demo. It was so much loving fun I bought the Millennium Falcon, Slave 1, a Tie Interceptor and a Tie Advanced. I'm hoping I can figure out an army list and get the models in by Saturday for a tournament they are having.

After looking around at various list I've narrowed it down to two options for Saturday. I have all the stuff for the first list, and I can get the last 2 TIEs I need in time if I order them tomorrow, so I have to decide quick. Any thoughts/comments? Are there any good list utilizing the Falcon? I think the last time I played I ran a heavily upgraded Falcon with a Red Squadron X-Wing and a Green Squadron A-Wing.

I've been reading around looking for a fun list and found one that looks fun. Bounty Hunter w/ Recon x2 Shuttle w/ Vader Anyone have any experience playing with or against this list? I'd like to know if it's worth it to buy the second Firespray and a Shuttle.

I just ordered a ton of crap to finish off my collection until W4 hits. With this order I have 2 of every ship except the YT-1300 x2 TIE Bomber (Hopefully good against capitals) Firespray (makes 2) x2 Shuttle x2 HWK x2 B-Wing x1 Core (gives me TIE 5&6, X-Wing 3) x1 A-Wing (gives me 2)

So there is a big tournament coming up on the 22nd. I think it's the Regional Championship, so I want to pick a list and practice my rear end off. I've narrowed it down to 3 choices but I could use some help deciding. List 1 is obviously a proven winner, but I think that it might be beyond my skill level, much for the same reason I'm not going to try to run a swarm list. List 2 is easy to play, but is weak to swarms, and List 3 is well, also hard to pilot I imagine. I'll be able to get lots of practice in but I need to decide what to run now. List 1: 2x Dagger Squadron Pilots w/ Advanced Sensors Biggs Darklighter Rookie Squadron Pilot (Variant is 2x Red Squadron Pilots instead of Biggs/Rookie) List 2: Hans Solo w/ Chewie, Elusivness, Nien Numb, Falcon, 2x Red Squadron Pilot List 3: Bounty Hunter w/ Recon Specialist Soontir Fel w/ Push the Limit, Stealth Device Backstabber Night Beast

I went 2-2 at our store championship playing 7 TIE yesterday. I lost to a double falcon build and another swarm list. Both my losses ended up 1st and 2nd place respectively. I walked away with a nifty range ruler anyways because 2nd place was awesome and said I earned it! (He had 2 1 HP ships left, I had 1, and we finished with about 30 seconds left on the round). Double falcon is super loving annoying to play against though.

My playgroup has been messing around with 4x Royal Guards w/ PTL and it's not nearly as bad as it sounds. It's pretty skill intensive to play but man does it do some work.

If you want to learn to move better, throw down a 'roid field using some paper to make sure there are a good 20 of them or so, and place targets in the field. Move your exact list around with the goals of hitting no asteroids and getting at least one shot per model every two movements. It'll help a ton.

Well, there doesn't seem to be a reason for me to buy them for now. I guess if I ever have extra money floating around I'll grab them for the sake of having them but it's good to know they didn't pack some ultra great upgrade or something in there.

This is just anecdotal but I have never lost a game against a list using the HWK. Granted I've only ever faced them using Interceptors and Fighters. They die too fast and 1 shot against 3/4 agility is laughable.
