I always love reading people reaction when they get to that scene in Alternative. Most shocking moment in a VN that I've played. Fate/ Stay Night had the second most shocking moment for me and it's not any of the ones you'd think. My reaction: HOLY loving poo poo! THAT WAS JUST THE PROLOGUE?!

It was nice to see everyone being I thought Moon was the best part of Rewrite. Hated Terra though.

on the same side (no actual Shizuru vs. Krivoy Rog fight, though). The comic relief scene where they mess around with the simulations was obviously the part written by Tonokawa, but I enjoyed it. Overall, a good route that didn't drag on too long.

Finished the first 4 chapters of Higurashi. Very enjoyable experience so far. Looking forward to these solution episodes. I'm also very pleased that they addressed "Chie" in the cast review. I had an inkling that might have been intentional and I"m very amused at how they acknowledged it.

Speaking of Higurashi I just finished the VN and just started to watch the first episode of the anime because well, why not? Barely into the first episode and I'm already freaked out. Rena is being voice by Nagisa's (Clannad) voice actress. This is going to make things awkward down the road.

I got over the giant hands a quarter of the say in to the first chapter. Wasn't really a big deal to me. Though I wasn't aware the patch existed at the time. But I don't regret playing it unpatched.

After getting "sidetracked" with Higurashi I'm resuming Kira Kira. Liking it so far though I'm just past the prologue. Not many other thoughts so far except I'm not sure if I'm ever not going to find Kirari's overly excited sprite not funny. Edit: This conversation about R&B and Rock music feels slightly racist. Edit2: What the hell!? LMAO! Kashiwara sure is working that clown look! From this and her earlier statement about how she would strike the audience with an instrument if she needed to I take it she is the kind eager girl who can easily get let astray. Though I have seen more outrageous hairstyles. I've played Muv Luv after all  Edit3: I have a feeling this is going to be music porn in the way Hoshizora no Memoria was astronomy porn and Fate Stay Night was food porn. Finished Chaos;Head. Flawed but enjoyable. The ending was pretty much meh. I generally like some sort of epilogue. Not knowing how the other characters made it out sucked. And Yua getting her sword had pretty much no relevance on the plot at all or heck Ayase or his sister.

You're going to want to use a walkthrough with Clannad because way they set have their routes set up is pretty stupid. Like you need to spend some time with Nagisa if you don't want to run into a bad end in Tomoyo's route and don't do Tomoyo's route before Misae's.

Well you don't have to do Tomoyo's last. Just be sure to complete Misae's route before Tomoyo's because you get Misae's story is completed in Tomoyo's route. And yeah that is pretty stupid. Generally Nagisa's route is probably the best one to save for last for a smoother transition into After Story although I actually did her's first in my play-through.

Ugh, remembering even more of the route design in Clannad. In Misae's route you have to give a particular set of answers without knowing that 1. choices are important and 2. Not even having a hint as to what the correct answers even are.

As someone who is currently watching the Chaos;Head anime, it's pretty bad. Substandard animation, poor retelling of the story, and they fail to replicate the sense of mystery, of the paranoia Taku had. And worst of all is that loving horrible ending theme. Hey, remember the pretty good atmosphere Chaos;Head had? Although I haven't finished it yet I wouldn't mind an anime original ending as I felt Chaos;head had a pretty lackluster ending. As far as what I thought of the anime adaptations of VN's that I've read. Chaos;head-pretty bad Fate Stay Night-not horrible but not really that good Higurashi- pretty good Clannad- Amazing, better than the VN.

, but Mion is perfectly sane and knows exactly what's going on. Having said that, Keiichi definitely has an exaggerated perception of events that puts a supernatural gloss on ordinary events; the TIPS bit with him remembering buying ramen at the store and describing it as though he was time travelling stood out as particularly bizarre. I don't think he's insane, exactly, just not thinking clearly at all.
