Does anyone else get the keyboard going over where you're trying to type. Covering the area? I'm trying to edit the bottom half of a document in pages and I can't see what it looks like as I'm typing. This is also happening on some websites. It's an iPad mini with the latest OS.

Tried restarting, closing the app etc. same problem..

Edit: found a fix. Split the keyboard and pinch it back into place. Voila! Text bumps back up.

Or hold down the "keyboard down" button and you can undock the keyboard without splitting it.

So, a couple of weeks ago my iPad suddenly stopped being able to use Google & YouTube, which is a problem since googling and youtube is almost all I do on the thing. "No worries, it'll fix itself" I think to myself, but it still won't work. It just sits there for a while and gives up, saying that the site can't be accessed. I'm not having this problem on my iPhone 1 or my desktop PC, although I think my iPhone just might be using EDGE to access Google. Could you guys help? I've done some googling but everything I've found so far doesn't help. My brother apparently has the same problem on his iPad, and we share a network. I've tried restarting the iPad, the router, updating the iPad, and so on - None of it works.

Restoring network settings/restore the device/Apple Store afterwards or call Apple Care if its still in warranty for phone support

Anyone have any experience with the home button dying? Mine has been acting very erratically the past few days - sometimes it's fine, sometimes I'll need to press it multiple times to get it to work, and sometimes it just won't respond at all requiring me to reset the iPad. It's a 3rd gen (the first with retina display), so about 1 1/2 years old (I think, can't remember exactly when I bought it).

It's one of the most used buttons and can break.

My MacBook Air broke and now I'm considering getting an iPad to use as my only computer. I know the iPad can do nearly everything that I did on my Mac but I have a question about photos and managing them. Without a Mac and iTunes to sync with, how can I manage my photos and transfer them from my iPhone to my iPad and visa versa?

On my Mac, I used Pages to write papers and export them to .doc format. Is Pages the only word processor on iPad that I should be using and can it export to .doc?

First answer : use Photostream so you can move pics between devices easily. Dropbox etc work too

Second answer : just get pages

If you click on an upload button for any website I believe it'll prompt you to take a photo or choose an existing one. No other file options than that.

Sorry, I guess this is only VERY loosely related to iDevices in general, but you are right. I got the 3 light starter pack and then the Light strip. (and then another light strip, and then the bloom.)

While yes, it's expensive to start with, it's pretty rad.

The color matching my theme was just my manually setting it. If you ever find a way or a hack or an app or something that will have it match like the Ambilight TV, please PM me. I AM ALL EARS!

:)

I have an app that does ambient lighting with my Hue. You have to point your phone camera at the TV so it's kinda stupid. There is a website some guy has that has a XBMC plugin that does it but the lag was bad when I tried it months ago.

I have a plugin that dims my lights 50% when I play content, and when I pause/finish a movie it goes up to 100% again. I get a lot of props from friends when I do it.

I want to put the Bloom light behind my TV and have it change based on what's on the TV.

Problem is light bulb costs and the fact that there's not much hacking going on with the Hue. It's a slow burn.
