Picked a Mini up recently and gave my 3 to family member. This thing is all but perfect, only complaint I have is the screen. I'm 100% sold on the form factor though.

I've always wondered why they don't put the better camera on the front. Skype/FaceTime is the only thing me and all my family use iPad cameras for.

Is there any reason for me to get the Air over the Mini? I'm mainly going to be using it to read comics and browse Awful/Twitter. I had a 3 which was just too heavy and sold it to get the Mini. I just couldn't enjoying using it for long with the lovely screen resolution, but I loved the form factor. I was sold on the Mini but with the Air being so light I'm starting to consider it. Would one be better than the other for Comixology/Comic Zeal? The Air has a larger screen but the Mini has higher DPI, I'm stumped

I can download comics straight from my NAS and read them, and I'm sure there's something like Resilio Sync that I could do to just automatically sync all my comics to my iPad and have them all ready to read. Just throwing out that I really recommend Panels for comics. I tried them all a while ago and that's the one I stuck with. The dev team are super responsive to suggestions and they just released a big 2.0 library overhaul. It's nice. It has a bunch of options for pulling in from servers but I just use a Dropbox folder. Free to download and try out too.

I'm grandfathered in from when it was a one time purchase, and it was a while ago, but I think access to other cloud services was the reason I paid at the time. But now you can access Dropbox from within Files which you get access to for free so not sure what the upsell is anymore.
