I am getting CTD when I try to go in the general direction of the hearthfire property near falkreath, which really sucks because I just bought the property on a character I put a lot of time into. The last time it was happening it was the oakdale mod because for some reason he puts both the hearthfire version and the vanilla version into the steam page for his hearthfire version and I, like an idiot, checked both on my active mods list. Its been a while since then though and I only got a couple new mods, unless the oakdale guy borked his mod somehow I don't see what could be causing it.


note that I have the non-hearthfire versions checked to see if I missed something or got it reversed. They were not checked when I first encountered this problem.

A more minor problem I've been having is with Wet and Cold. It doesn't work for me at all, I haven't removed it or tried to fix it out of pure laziness really.

I only run BOSS, I should run wrye bash but I don't understand any mod things beyond load-order.

EDIT- Through strange voodoo, wet and cold started working but lakeview manor is still a dead zone.

its not quite what you were asking but I remember one that added gigantic redwood trees but that was literally years ago since I've heard anything about it. Infact it was so long ago that it may have been for Oblivion and I am misremembering.

Has the civil war overhaul been stabilized at all? I remember wanting to try it out when it was first released but it had a tendency to gently caress up catastrophically, so you pretty much had to make a playthrough just for the mod.

Sperg has 3 perks in the Unarmed tree that sound like they make unarmed pretty viable.

I play with moonlight tales and I can highly recommend it, thought I would turn of the Npc to NPC infection mechanic and possibly the player to NPC infection mechanic if you are going for a non-gimmick playthrough.

I think that may be intentional, He's seen as the best smith because the skyforge just makes better quality steel.

I just download mods off of nexus with NMM, sort it with LOOT, and then BASH it and everything works fine so I haven't really found a reason to learn how to use MO.

Holy poo poo, Moonlight tales added a whole lot of customization since I last used it.

Does anyone know the name of the mod that added better loot to boss chests, but each one had a certain theme that all the loot would follow? there were also khajiit merchants in inns that would sell special enchanted items.

That and figuring on getting used to basic crafting in general, before diving in to adding secondary components and shuffling around ebony for Orichalcum, quicksilver secondaries, etc. (It mentions the 'Craft Daedric only at night' being optional, but not that stuff)

With a side of "Okay it requires a side mod I wasn't quite interested in, and... a Bashed patch is required to merge-I don't even know what the gently caress that means". That's part of what I meant for a bit much for diving right in with it.

Nice to hear it works good for SPERG though, for if I change my mind and decide just the weapons and armor fixes patch means smithing is garbage and I should be upset about Vanilla instead :v:

I recommend learning how to make a bash patch, its pretty easy, and while I wasn't sure about CCO when I installed it yesterday, its slowly growing on me.
